10/8/2024 Kick Recap - "Beans On Toast, Cheese In Hot Chocolate"
Lang grabs the Sandal from the tow yard and heads to Cypress to check out the warehouses. He takes another peek at Andi and Sophia's changes, noticing that they have accommodated for the new doors. Lang takes the Sandal for a drive around the city, testing his brakes and his ability to drift. tsunami hits
Lang drives to Cypress and finds Luciano by the old garage, Luciano shows Lang that it's still scuffed. Lang calls Clark a few times and finally gets through, but gets his ping and takes Luciano to the oil fields. He tells Luciano that he's killing Clark today, and proposes that they leave the crew behind and start over just the Dons.
Clark arrives and Lang yells at him, threatening him for leaking to Locco's boys and protecting them from dying. Clark wants them dead as much as Lang does, but Lang doesn't believe him. Clark speaks up, trying to show the Dons that he doesn't want to protect anyone, but Lang knocks him out with the gun. They drive him to the hospital, and Luciano tells Clark that he has 5 days to find Xander or he's losing a finger.
After Clark is back on his feet, they run into Pred outside the hospital who wants to speak to Lang and Luci. Luciano kicks Pred's car, and Lang drives into it. They drop Clark back at his car, and he promises to get the job done. Harry calls to meet up, he just got a new fent table for them and complains about Luciano not doing his job. Lang asks him if Harry's right, and they drive over to the Silos to check on the operation.
They pick up Arush in Cypress, hitting Zeek with the truck when they arrive, and take the table to the docks where they put the new table down on a boat. Luciano tries to tell them about putting mozzarella in hot chocolate, but they are all disgusted. Luciano talks them through the ingredients and cooks up a new batch, it will be ready in 45 minutes. They call Gigi to see if she has the numbers, but she doesn't have specifics right now. She's about to have a captain's meeting, and will be free after.
They pull up at the 24/7 and notice someone inside on the radio, they debate contesting it. A Hydra car pulls up and brings in a hostage at gun point, Harry talks on his radio from the truck to spook the people inside. They head to Cypress to grab a can of tear gas and run into Teddy who gives them his new phone number. Vito and Sophia are chatting outside, Sophia wants to have a short meeting later. Andi calls to ask if who the crew's punching bag is, and Lang tells her it's Clark. Andi asks if she can be mean to members of Cypress and tells a story about Apple. Lang tells her that Zeek can be humbled, and she is free to do that.
Luciano tells them the story of how they killed a lifer in prison last night for claiming Cypress and telling the DOC that he's working with them. Arush is too tired, so he heads to bed. They get changed and find a stolen car, they call Ilya to join them on the job. Luciano reminds Lang of who Toro is (Sakura's boyfriend), and Lang doesn't seem to care. Luciano says he already checked her on it, and Sakura shot Toro in front of him to prove that she values Cypress above love. They take Luciano back and forth to pick up his fent and set up a new batch to cook.
They grab Ilya and try to find a 24/7 to hit, but only run into more Cypress members. Clark and Vito finish their meeting, so they join up. Harry calls Donnie to open up the sewer grates, and they decide to attempt a jewelry store heist instead. Vito and Ilya go to get a hostage while Lang, Luciano, Harry, and Clark drive up to the jewelry store. They notice someone is already inside, so Lang heads to the roof while everyone rushes inside. Lang tells them to threaten the people inside to leave, or else they're getting tear gassed. The person inside dodges the gas, so they push and take him out. Lang watches from the roof, Luciano finds a G6 Chip on the person they shot down and they attempt to leave.
