10/10/2024 Kick Recap - "The Great Cypress Purge"

Lang grabs his stuff from prison and stops by the hospital to get patched up. Harry calls to tell Lang that stuff is missing from the benches at Frank's Warehouse. Lang and Harry compare texts to see if they were given notice about why every thing is missing. They go find Clark pushing weed on the block and question him about the missing items. Clark has no idea what they're talking about, Harry and Lang don't believe him. While Clark tries to figure out what happened, Lang tries to convince Harry to leave and start their motorcycle club. Lang goes to get his unemployment cheque (19k), and then stops for food at the food court.

tsunami hits

Lang wakes up and drives to the hospital, his car ignites in flame so he continues to run while he's bleeding. He's about to pass out, but Luciano finds him in the road and takes him to the hospital. Lang succumbs to his injuries in the lobby, passing out until a doctor is able to assist him. Luciano takes him back to his car, Harry calls to meet, and they head to the butchery.

Luciano tells them that Rocco was killed (perma), they believe it was the ex-404 members. The 404 warehouse was re-seized, so they moved some of the things out of Frank's as a pre-caution. Harry questions why they only moved some things, but Luciano specifies that it was to stay away from the weapons manufacturing charge. They agree to moving all the manufacturing blueprints and parts to the Silos. Gigi calls confirming everything is up at Azul. Lang tells her that they're moving stuff, and she offers to help. She reminds him of a few guns she put away from a previous adventure, she will bring them to the Silos as well.

They head to Frank's and start emptying the Benches so that they can be moved, Arush arrives and helps them empty the armoury, too. After moving everything, Arush calls Sophia to get added to the panel. Lang tells Sophia to move things around as she wants. The Dons head to the Tuner shop to get Lang's truck fixed, Arush tells them about trying to get the stuff from the cargo heist yesterday.

They run into Marlo at the Tuner shop and he advises Lang what parts to get for his truck. Lang is looking for tires, so he twats about it and takes many calls about them. He tries to make a deal with Raia for 1 tire, but she takes a call from her boyfriend and Lang refuses to do business with her. Luciano tells Lang he's got parts he can use, so they go grab extra cash and check the parts. The mechanic tells him that the anti-roll bar will make his truck stiffer, so Lang tells him to just keep the part. Miguel offers 3 semi-slick tires, so Lang tries to find a 4th. Remedy sells Lang a tire for 15k, Miguel is busy can can't drop off the last 2 tires.

They leave, Luciano tells them about Ray retaliating for the jewelry heist they did. Harry spoke to Ray before breaking into prison the other night, but the story devolves into Lang telling them that they shouldn't bend over for Ray. Luci tells them that Ray claims they should have known the colour of the cars, if they didn't want beef.

The Dons meet with Larry, Bubbles and Hank. They send Hank away, and Larry tells them the news he has about Rocco and updates from the PD. Larry tells them that Rocco died at the lighthouse, Marko Fray (ex-404) went back to his house and called the cops anonymously about the dead person at the light house. The PD triangulated where the call was from, and raided Marko's house. Larry thinks ex-404 shot Rocco for beef, or Hydra told ex-404 to shoot Rocco for trust. Marko owned the blue trailer, so they closed and raided that, which means Larry and Martin lost everything again. They clarify that Larry is still running as deputy mayor, and remind him that he's not required to shoot cops for the crew during this time. They are happy to hear that they didn't get raided, but they are still concerned with the suspicion of the PD.

The Dons leave and ride around, cooking up ideas and arguing. They end up at the docks to meet with Gigi who discusses finances. Teddy's crew earned 1.6m, Clark's crew earned 954k, Vito's crew earned 605k, Sakura's crew earned 506k, 404 earned nothing since they got raided. 4.3m was deposited to the crew, kickbacks 2.7m, saved 1.6m, but paid a little out for bills. Lang asks if they can be paid, Luciano took a payment last week, Gigi is unsure who takes payments because they don't confirm with her. After a very confusing conversation, Lang wants his leftover payments. Gigi complains about the cleaning operation, Lang wants to trim the fat.

Lang and Arush argue about the value of the morning crew, a lot. They argue about who gets killed, and who has been killing. Lang tells them that he doesn't care about anyone, and that he'll axe anyone. Lang goes through the list of who he wants to kill from each crew, but Arush get's fed up. Arush bring's up Brazil, so Lang threatens to shoot him. Luciano stands in the way, trying to de-escalate the situation. They agree to remove inactive and problematic people, and Lang calls for a re-vote on Locco. Harry and Lang vote to kill Locco, Arush and Luciano vote against. They continue arguing about different members to cut, Arush tells them to stop starting wars in EU. They want to have a whole different conversation about Martin, and Vito, since they're the captains who they see the least. Gigi promises to give them a HUGE report next week, and they all leave.

Lang calls Clark to tell him about "The Great Cypress Purge", and has him build a list of people to kill. Next, he calls Sakura and does the same. He calls Luciano after and stirs about removing some captains, increasing the potential of an underboss promotion. Kitty calls to sell Lang a tire for 15k, and Lang asks if she can get one more as well. He checks on Andi at the warehouse and gives her a rolex, she tells him not to peek at her work.

Miguel calls to give Lang 1 tire, the PD took the other. Lang get's it for free for being delayed, Kitty calls to tell him that Remedy just bought 3 more. Lang calls Remedy, but she wants to give them to her boyfriend to keep him in the city. Remedy reminds Lang that he lost his bar license when she had a case with him, and Lang hangs up in depression. Luciano calls to check in, Lang and him discuss the parameters of the purge and what they plan on doing with inactive captains.

Lang heads to bed.
