10/14/2024 Kick Recap - "Name 3 Associates"

Lang gets some food and checks out the farming warehouse to see the changes. He heads over to the Silos and bumps the counter, having to adjust the equipment that he knocked over. Lang calls Clark, who is turning in his roof running parts, to meet. He picks up Clark and Ilya, and they reflect on the weekend. Lang accuses Ilya for not getting the job done and lying about going to the Filipins to look for Locco's boys. Ilya tries to explain the story, but Lang doesn't believe him. He waits patiently while they exchange parts at the fence.

Unsure where Ilya went, Lang and Clark leave and crash into an ambulance on the road. Clark thinks they're attending to Ilya, Lang shoots out the ambulance tire and they drive back into the city.

tsunami hits

Lang picks up Luciano and Arush and they chat about Lang's green juice. Luciano takes them to the Silos and shows them the progress of the fentanyl operation. Over the weekend they found multiple cars with tons of the product, Lang wants to get some bricks made, but Luciano isn't on the app for the next few days. Martin removed Liya from the app, Lang yelled at him, Luciano put her back on the app. They are called to the farming warehouse to find a large moonshine still at the front door, Lang calls the cops to get it removed.

Lang reminds them that they're making hard decisions about the crew today, Arush agrees and tells them that he put aside his feelings. The cops arrive and Lang gives his statement, hoping to get prints and trespass the person who did it. The officers remove the still and the Dons head to the butchery for a meeting.

Luciano tells them that Martin killed Courtney after determining that he wasn't for Cypress. He had Skipper do it, and they called Luciano down to witness it. Lang wants to re-address Hank and Martin's comments about him being "trusted enough". Lang wants to get less captains and to appoint an underboss in the new structure. They discuss some guidelines of what they expect from members from the crew, and Martin arrives to recap the weekend.

Don Meeting with Martin

Courtney wasn't seen much since the 404 raid and test, people were concerned with his alignment. Martin spoke to him with Skipper and determined that he was not loyal, so he had Skipper shoot Courtney. They question him about removing Liya from the Hideout app, and he explains that he replaced her with himself just to push weed. He had no idea that Liya was part of the growing operation, and didn't intend to cause issue. Next, they chat about Martin claiming that Hank was "bought in to him". Martin admits to being wrong, but compares his actions to the other captains. Lang submits a 100k fine for the two situations. Gigi is letting Martin use her property for them to continue making money. Martin explains a concern he had: Vito handed off 4k bags of dying weed to push, while Vito went to heist with his sub crew. His crew felt disrespected, but they got over it. Vito and Sakura's crews are on the same HQ app, so they don't need split butcoin allowances. They approve for Martin to use materials to continue growing the butcoin farm, and remind him to pay his fine.

They call Sakura down to the butchery to chat, and agree that they want to get up to some fun today. Sakura arrives and explains what happened with the 4k bags of weed, but she doesn't have much more detail outside of what they already know. Sakura was given permission to cycle her sub crew and associates on the Hideout app, Lang is suspicious of Santana and Oleg. They want to see her kill list, so she goes to grab her book quickly.
Lang and Arush discuss their feelings towards killing some of the crew, Arush doesn't care anymore. Sakura returns with her list, and they want to go through it on their own. Sakura mentions a concern with killing Santana, he is a partial owner of the house they operate out of. They call Clark to bring his list to the butchery.

They go through Sakura's list and determine Oleg and Santana are on the chopping block. Clark arrives and is told he's ugly, but gives them his list and leaves. Clark's list looks similar to Sakura's, and they are unsure why everyone seems against Vito's crew. They want Vito's and Teddy's lists, but the fentanyl event is starting soon, so they leave to do that instead. They stop to get supplies at the electronic store, and notice a ton of vehicles at city hall. They head inside to vote, and discuss the difficulty of choosing. They are interrupted by someone looking to pick up their stuff from security, and Lang heads into the court room to find hundreds of people.

They stand in viewing of the court case for a long time, making small chat with different crew members that arrive. An officer approaches Martin and Lang tells him to step back. Next, he notices a group of white haired people and thinks they're Targaryen. They hear a boat horn in the distance, and court takes a short recess. Lang runs into Robin in the halls and they have a pleasant greeting. Lang and Luciano return to the car, finding Arush eating lunch. Lang grabs his stuff from security and heads to Cypress to meet with Donnie. The Dons share all the stories of when they first got high.

They want to get a plane prepared to land on the boat, Lang doesn't believe it's a good idea. They get to the airport, and Lang wants to fly instead. They can't find a plane or a helicopter, so they go through Teddy and Martin's books. Teddy has Santana on his kill list, Martin thinks they should meld Sakura and Vito's crew together. They think about this idea more, and reflect on Santana being on everyone's kill list.

Lang suggests that the perfect world scenario is that Clark goes up to Underboss, and they meld Clark and Sakura's crew. Martin could get demoted based on his inactivity, but Lang thinks he could be the best captain if he tried. They finally find a plane at the airport, so Lang lands it down by the Cypress water. Arush asks him to land it by the warehouses, so Lang takes it for a flight around. A heavy fog rolls in and Lang is blind in the sky, dangerously maneuvering a landing behind the warehouses. Trying to adjust the plane, he breaks the propeller on a nearby pipe and they decide to leave the plane.

They steal a pick up truck, and Donnie presses them, not knowing who they were. Donnie suggests a new spot for the garage and shows them, the Dons approve and he goes to move it. They revisit the crew conversation, and Arush agrees for Clark becoming underboss. They could slim down to 3 captains: Teddy, Sakura, and Martin - but they remain unsure about Martin. They want to meet with Vito to chat about his activity. They grab a new plane from the airport and Lang lands it in Cypress safely. They hand off keys to Clark and Martin and head inside the Stables to meet with Vito.

Lang asks if Vito was given notice about the list, and Vito asks what they're measuring so he can give them a specific list. Vito's list consists of Silvio, Alfredo, Joey, and Lucia. All of them are associates, while his bought in members are all great. He trained Queenie up to be able to do everything he can, he thinks everyone has been active enough, and he has no issue with Santana. They clarify that the 4k bags of weed he gave away was from Teddy before his break, and then nearly expired while he was away, so when he found them, he gave them to Big Joe and some of 404 to handle. They thank Vito for his hardwork and go to meet with Queenie to get her opinion on some things.

Cypress radios in that they're holding up Miguel and Macgregor, so the Dons pull up to question them. After determining that neither party wants issues, they let Macgregor and Miguel go, but caution them for being suspicious on the turf. Queenie tells them that she's happy to take on duties when Vito wasn't around, the Night crew had low activity based on people being sick or being out of town.

Queenie can't speak for activity on other members much, Clark and Ilya work well together, Joe could be around more and he makes the effort to show presence when he is, Martin and Larry are hardly seen, Teddy and Leon are seen rarely but work smoothly. They let Queenie go and thank her for the input, and revisit the Vito captain discussions. They think Vito picked the best Enforcer in Queenie, and can't see a negative with him being inactive while Queenie is around. Arush heads to bed, Lang and Luciano continue discussing the ideas.

Lang jokes about promoting Ilya to War General, so that he can enforce the Enforcers. Then, he'd move Martin up to Captain of the captains. They compliment Ilya's qualities, and Lang talks about how the Enforcer role was made for him. They come across someone running through Cypress who crashed out and was looking for a car, so they pick him up and give him a ride back to the apartments. He's broke, and they suggest he get a job when they drop him off.

They want to give Martin the week to prove his presence and his responsibilities, Lang drops Luciano back to Cypress and heads to bed.
