10/18/2024 Kick Recap - "Straight From Training Day"

Lang meets up with Arush and joins them on the morning crew money runs. Arush tells him that Clark is going on a week vacation, Lang puts the Sandal on sale in the Lemon List. Donnie calls to get a price so he can try and sell for Lang when he's working at Tuner, Lang tells him he's selling for 1.1m, since he bought it for 1.3m. After a few runs, Arush shows Lang the money stash (5555) in the red trailer, and he takes the 645k he's owed. They deposit the money in the bank before tsunami hits.

Lang runs into Luciano getting gas, they ride around and discuss what went wrong on yesterday's hot run. Luciano admits to his mistakes and tries to explain his thought process during the run. They agree that Harry is afraid of going to jail, but they are unsure why. Flippy calls to tell Lang that a hostage he shot down yesterday, had Lang's ID. Lang has no idea who he was or why he had the ID. Flippy asks if Lang spoke to Arush about the deal he was setting up with Hydra, but offers to let Arush have his meeting first.

Lang and Luciano gather up equipment, discussing how they can improve their shootouts with cops. They pick up Arush in Cypress and head up to Azul. Arush tells them they missed a boat last night, and he has something to show them. Arush pulls out a Combat PDW that he got from Hydra. Arush explains that they tested their guns, and mags to figure out if they can trade anything. Hydra has M4's, PDWs, and Mac10 mags. Hydra will give them the one PDW and whatever mags they find in the future that works for the Skorpions - Lang and Luciano don't agree.

They travel back to Cypress to have a meeting, Luciano accidentally misfires while in the Silos. Lang calls Clark to gather up the captains, everyone but Teddy is around. Nino calls Luciano to tell them that Officer Shiesty is doing a reform apology tour of all the criminal blocks. Lang tells them to fuck off, Luciano relays the message.

Captain Meeting with the Dons

Lang, Arush, and Luciano meet with Clark, Martin, Sakura, and Vito. Lang tells them about the new planned structure, slimming down Cypress and removal of associates. He mentions that captains may move up to a new rank, and they are allowed to determine if their Enforcers need to be changed. They want to get as close as possible to the Hideout 25 members, but understand that it might be a little more than that. They want to increase privacy, so associates need to be separated from conversations and not be allowed into Cypress buildings. Luciano re-iterates that they are all working together now, no more competition between the crews. Lang suggests everyone getting new phones when they make it official to commit to new numbers. Arush tells them not to hesitate, and commit to getting rid of people that aren't around. Lang compliments Martin for maintaining even with 404 losing members and their warehouse. He compliments Vito as well, for building a crew that flows smoothly and earns the most even without his direct presence. Lang mentions new ranks, but wants to wait for Clark to be around (Underboss????). Vito asks about what their new motivations are, and Lang tells him their goals are to have people respect Cypress. Clark asks for clarification on the Hades/hostage situation, and they tell them to stand their ground and defend themselves. If an associate get's taken, they're cannon fodder, but everyone else is Cypress and should be respected equally.

Sakura and Vito want to have a private conversation with the Dons about Santana and Cloak. Tons of different people own the Night Crew house, Santana had a private meeting with Cloak about ownership of the house, they want to sell the house. Vito tells them they've been using it to store equipment and farm butcoin. Lang asks if Beau would be okay with the conflict, Sakura clarifies that he is for Cypress. Lang suggests JP-ing the house and moving everything into Liya's house on Fudge.

Lang, Arush, and Luciano have a quick sidebar about Santana. They are concerned with how Santana's been acting, and based on the captain kill sheets, they decide to commit to the removal. Martin and Clark return to speak to the Dons, Martin asks for a business that they can list on the 404 warehouse if the government is willing to give it back- the Dons don't care, it can be any business.

Martin leaves, and they reprimand Clark for being bottom earner again. Arush tells him to take his week vacation to reset and come back stronger. Lang tells him to put in a request next time he wants to go on vacation, but wishes him well. Lang calls Liya to inform her about the move, and for her to assist Vito and Sakura with access to her Fudge house.

The Dons discuss promoting Donnie for a logistics role, but they would rather give him a sentimental item and praise him for his hard work. They head out to do some money runs, Arush might have lost one, but they continue. Officer Peters calls to apologize on behalf of Den Shiesty, Nino and Peters offer to have a BBQ of peace. Lang agrees to have a BBQ within 24 hours, or else he's killing Den. Clark calls to hand off fentanyl run equipment, they meet in the Cypress construction. They find Donnie still watching the car that he found, and discuss how underappreciated the construction is.

Lang gets pulled over by Officer Kade, Ilya calls to say they're hitting a 24/7 and want back up. Lang tries to get the ticket and move on, but they argue for a long time. Lang throws his ID on the ground, Kade writes him a ticket for littering and speeding, and let's them leave. Kade calls Lang a "good boy", so he spins around and tries to chase Kade down, but narrowly misses at 180mph. Lang, Arush, and Luci meet with Clark and Ilya in Paleto by the 24/7. Teddy calls, Lang has him join their group for the 24/7. They don't get a white card, but break into the safe without an issue. Clark informs them that CJ was shot and robbed in Cypress, so they rush back into the city.

They don't know who it is, but they suspect Simon or someone who knows their pushing spots. They scout around Cypress looking for the person, Martin took CJ to the hospital and got a very simple description. They run into 404 outside of the hospital and ask CJ for more details, but they are unsure who it could be. Lang continues to ask people nearby if they're Tony, to see if they sound raspy. They find a suspicious looking person who forgot their name, so they kidnap him and take him to the airport. They check his pockets and ID, and ask him why he doesn't remember anything, but after determining he was shot in the head, they leave him be.

They go by Frank's to get food, and Frank helps serve them. Frank apologizes for texting Lang something sad, but Lang never saw it. They ask Frank if he's a clown, because he has some strange make up on his face, but he denies it. Luciano asks if he can get Ricky to be his back up cook while he's not available, Lang wants to revisit after they handle the purge. They head to Cypress construction to have the crew meeting.

Crew Meeting with Gigi

Lang, Luciano, Arush, CJ, Skipper, Zahn, Martin, Clark, Liya, Ilya, Coco, Zeek, Teddy, Bubbles, Sophia, and Donnie are in attendance. Gigi tells them that Sakura and Vito are available but absent because they are moving stuff out of the Night Crew house, Lang doesn't understand why should would announce that. Liya tells everyone to get someone outside of Cypress to buy their new phone for them, so they can't link the purchase back to you. Gigi is finalizing cleaning the Stables, which means she's taking and moving anything illegal left in that warehouse. Arush tells everyone about the targeted hit on CJ, Lang joins by telling everyone to press everyone and look for their weed. CJ gives her best description of the person, Luciano interrupts with a suspicious person sighting, claiming someone biked by yelling "fuck cypress".

Lang, Martin, Bubbles, Skipper, and Zahn hop in Lang's truck and they roll around. Lang shoots at a biker, but they realize it might be Donnie. They drive around Cypress and discuss who they think it could be, Martin tells Lang that they twatted an image of Kyle Pred on an HQ app, so Lang thinks this is something Pred might do. Before they return to the meeting, Lang tells Luciano about what Martin said, and the part where Gigi leaked the Night Crew move. Luciano thinks they might have to fine the Treasurer. Officer Shiesty calls to apologize in person, Lang pings him to come down to Cypress. Den calls back to say he should do it over the phone, Lang threatens to shoot him the next time he sees him.

Lang returns to the end of the meeting, Den calls again only to be told the same thing. Lang and Luciano pull Gigi aside to tell her that she shouldn't have shared the move of the Night Crew house. Teddy calls and Lang recaps the captain meeting notes. Teddy has suggestions: multiple washing houses, new deposit spots for money, and more. Lang still wants to work some operations out, so they'll decide come monday. Lang shit talks Clark and tells Ilya to be a better captain than him, and then tells Zeek to go take a nap. He returns to Luciano and Gigi's discussion, and she is eager to kill, so Lang tells her to kill Den Shiesty. Lang calls Den back to torment him, requesting 5m cash to accept the apology. Den agrees, Officer Peters calls to see if Lang wants to go on a ridealong with him and Nino.

Lang, Luciano, and Gigi drive around. Luci tells them that Peach is the new lead of the TRT squad for the PD. Lang twats, threatening that she'll die in 48 hours. Luci tries to tell them about info Donnie gave him, but Lang crashes and ejects everyone. Lang drives them back to Cypress, and heads to bed.
