10/22/2024 Kick Recap - "Today's The Day"
Lang stops by the farming warehouse and resists the urge to peek at Andi's decorations. He calls Arush to meet, Arush is doing money runs to get the rest of the kickbacks cleaned. Lang joins Arush, but they get pulled over for Lang's erratic driving. Arush realizes he needs to pick up the cash from Tequilala, so Lang flees from the traffic stop and drops Arush to 'use the washroom'. The cops follow and resume the traffic stop until storm hits.
Lang drives over to the butchery and calls up the Dons to meet. Luciano and Arush arrive, they discuss gathering supplies and being prepared for the jobs. They found fentanyl cars yesterday, and are still cooking bricks for the hot runs. Harry arrives and jokes about how they took on the boat yesterday. He wants to discuss Hades' strategy for it, but remembers that he forgot…The Dons continue to discuss strategy, until they're ready to discuss crew numbers.
Lang reads out the numbers for Vito's crew, they agree to get rid of all the associates, except for Cole Gunner. For Sakura's crew, they agree to get rid of Oleg, Toro, Tommy, Capone, Shy, and Santana. They want to break Joe's legs for earning so little. For Teddy's crew, they list Micheal, Kanye, and Cuddles. For Clark's crew, they list Del, Zeek, Zayn, Locco, Coco, Yaya. For Martin's crew they only list Hank since he's not bought in, and they already lost a bunch of members. Luciano reads through the notes Gigi left, they discuss slimming down the total and changing the crew structure. Lang proposes less enforcers, promoting an Underboss, and leaving the captains to maintain different time zones- everyone votes yes.
They agree to let Ilya and Queenie stay as Enforcers, after much discussion with Harry and Luciano they vote to demote Joe. They loop back around to the kill list, and discuss objections on people like Oleg, Zeek, Coco, Locco, Zayn. They spend a LOT of time arguing about this, but decide to speak to a few captains before making final decisions.
Luciano tells them shortly about his mission over the weekend, he completed the hit and gave Skipper 50k for his efforts. Lang and Arush want to know what else he got, but Luciano teases they'll see it later at Azul. Sakura arrives to give input on Joe as an Enforcer, and does a great job explaining to the Dons how effective he has been handling members of the crew. Joe has been farming for shine, and pushing weed. Luciano asks about Luca, Toro, and Tommy. Sakura gives her input about all of them working hard and being around, but Luca had a recent issue where he might have been stealing from other earners- unsure until confirmed.
Arush calls Coco down to the butchery to explain the numbers, because they are unsure. Lang yells at Luciano for taking phone calls while they are meeting. Coco arrives and they quiz him about the numbers, they are extremely confused about the mistake. They yell at Coco to go triple check, and then discuss if Clark is cooking the books. Luciano questions that if the numbers for Coco are wrong, then maybe other members are, too. They remove Coco from the chopping block, and are frustrated they can't kill more people.
Lang and the Dons head to the Stables and comb through the Hideout app. After Lang relabels everyone in the app, they agree to a crew count maximum of 35. They stop to get food for Arush, Liya greets Lang and he tells her structural changes are coming. They want to go to a new spot to chat, Luciano remembers to tell them that Hydra got raided over the weekend. They drive up to Azul and run into Teddy who is growing weed. Luciano shows them what he got from the boat: 5 more Skorpions, and magazines. They joke about how useful Luciano is on a secret mission, and decide to build a crew list to determine who they're keeping (they used the one Sabine made).
