11/05/2024 Kick Recap - "Negative Nancy"
Lang finds his car still terribly broken from yesterday's mishaps. He grabs food from Frank's, spots Harry in the food court, and checks City Hall to see that his warrant has expired. Lang calls Clark to meet and picks him up from a roof run. They catch up on issues from yesterday, no conflict from the groups they fought. Clark claims the morning crew has been good, they did a cash exchange and everyone got out safely. They pick up Arush in Cypress and they discuss the potential conflict with the Besties. Arush claims he did what he said and stood on business about it, they understood and don't have issue with the ocean dump.
They want to move down some supplies from the red trailer, so they drive up to Paleto. Lang is surprised that Arush has the trailer in his name, and that it looks like a trap house, but Arush prefers it that way. Arush tells them that some captains have a surprise to show the crew later. Lang checks in with Clark about Zeek, Zeek is interested in being a Lieutenant so he's been grinding materials and keeping the crew stocked up with war supplies. Arush reminds them that Coco and Cuddles have been working on oxy, so if they need more to ask them. Lang calls Harry who is exploring the Factory, they go back to Cypress to meet him.
They plan out a hot run today and decide to gather up the car parts. They run into Alan at the tow yard and beef about Lang being old, Lang almost shoots Alan, but they decide to leave. Lang tries to get his truck tires off, but Donnie tells them he needs something to replace them in the meanwhile. They try to rip parts out of local cars, but it doesn't work. They gather up what they can and meet Donnie and Octo in the Tuner shop to have them select the parts for the job car. Arush is having stomach issues, Octo doesn't seem motivated enough, so Lang complains about his attitude change. They time Donnie on his tire swap, and they confirm it can be done under two minutes. Octo leaves to go prepare, the Dons and Lang head up to the red trailer to see the surprise.
Apparently last night they got a TON of stuff from a cargo heist, they find tons of shotgun ammo, mags, Tommy guns, and other machine guns. Lang pulls out all the tommy guns to take to the Silos. They discuss Arush's organization, everyone grabs some class 2's they want to use today. Martin isn't around, so they call Queenie to take the 6th spot. Martin calls to ask if they saw the stuff, they told Martin they saw and took the stuff already, he can tell the story on the job that he should join. They decide to move all the guns out of the red trailer before the run because if things go south they will get raided. Gigi calls to have the meeting, Lang offers to have it after the run, she mentions onboarding Andi today. Gigi offers to move the clean cash savings out of her property so that she can come on future runs, Lang agrees.
Fentanyl Hot Run
After many trips back and forth, they leave everything in the Silos and get geared up for the hot run. Arush and Clark go to get a truck, Lang and Harry do the same. Harry tries to steal two trucks, but they scuff out. Officer McNulty watches Harry try to take the second one, but laughs as he drives up. They are able to secure two trucks and Lang meets Octo and Martin before they put the bricks in the trunk. There seems to be no tracker until the drugs are in the car, so they are able to take the vehicle to the Tuner shop and get the tires on. They begin the run, but the police presence is too heavy to get the contact available. The hot run car dies, Lang picks up Martin and Octo and they head to Cypress construction for the shoot out. They race into the construction site, a shoot out ensues, and everyone eventually goes down to the cops.
Everyone is taken the hospital to get back on their feet, and then taken into custody where they are given their charges. Lang pleads guilty and banters with the cops about his age.
