11/06/2024 Kick Recap - "3+6-14 = 11"
Lang leaves prison and tests out the grapple gun before storm. Arush calls Lang to tell him about two deals he made, one with 4Head and one with Flippy. They meet at the Silos and Lang argues about Arush getting scammed, they review how much ammo and equipment they lost yesterday. They call Clark down to meet, and review what he used yesterday. Arush gets fed up and calls the deals off in frustration, he tells Lang that he killed Locco this morning, and Lang finally realizes that he's reacting emotionally. Lang asks him to put the deals back on, and attempts to barter through Arush.
They arrive to meet 4Head at Vinewood Bowl, he's already there with Flippy making a deal. Through slight awkwardness, Flippy steps out of the deal since they couldn't agree to something, Lang barters with 4Head to get a good deal on tommy gun mags and more shotgun ammo. After much discussion, Arush attempts to make a deal with Flippy while Lang attempts to make a deal with 4Head. Arush convinces Lang that the original deal he pitched to Flippy works, so they agree. Lang and Clark stand to the side and Lang tells Clark he has permanent pink-eye.
Harry arrives and they ask him how much he took, Harry suspects someone is stealing and hiding it. They return to the conversation with 4Head and agree to a new deal, but they want to make the exchange at a new spot. On the way back to the Silos to get the equipment, Harry tries to throw suspicion on Arush. Alan bumps into them and begs for a repair kit, Harry tosses one out of the car. They continue to argue, Lang and Harry grow paranoid of Arush, and then Cypress.
Gigi calls to let Lang know that she left a notebook on her desk with options to move some things around for their approval, he'll grab it after the deals. Harry goes into the Silos to look for himself, and returns with more suspicions (I'm not recording details about who took what ammo, because I think they're all wrong and it's hard to track it). They meet Flippy at the Horse Race Track for the first deal, and continue to argue about suspicious members in the crew.
They grab the next set of items to trade and go meet with 4Head. Harry asks if Lang lost his spring boots, but he lies and says they seized it. Clark mentions that they didn't seize his grapple gun or the EMP launcher, and they're all surprised. Harry mentions that he forgot he had extra mags in his pockets just now, and Lang believes it must have been Harry all along. After making the deal with 4Head, they return to the Silos to drop off what they got, Lang reminds them to stop by the Factory for Gigi's book.
Lang grabs the book, Harry tries a grapple gun and hurts himself. Liya pulls up as they're leaving, they confuse her for CJ. Liya expresses frustrations about her kickback being incorrect, Lang promises to figure it out. Clark mentions that Liya called to ask if they were at war, and requested to be in the convoy when they are. Lang reads through the notebook while Harry gets patched up at the hospital, he agrees with a few takes but doesn't seem interested in getting rid of Cypress properties. Clark tells them that Cuddles took a Ballas hostage for a corner store, and they might retaliate, Lang considers if he cares because Cuddles isn't bought in yet.
Clark suggests doing a Cash Exchange, so they gather up supplies and prepare for the job. Lang discusses Octo's lack of confidence recently, Clark and Harry agree. They meet at the Stables to prepare, Octo arrives and wants to talk about yesterday, but not at this moment. Lang offers for him to speak now about it, so Octo asks what the plan is going forward. Lang doesn't like complaining about the problems, without coming up with solutions. Octo wants to take some more time to plan, and set up some more blocks, Lang agrees.
