11/08/2024 Kick Recap - "Take Up Space"

Lang gets changed and gathers up equipment for the new day, he calls Arush and yells at him, trying to upset him. Lang finds Arush on the side of the highway and runs him over, steals his shoes and then takes him to the ocean (If this was anyone else, it would probably be a really serious problem). Lang ocean dumps the truck with Arush in it as the waves of tsunami wash them away.

Queenie greets Lang at the apartments as everyone starts their day. He calls Luciano, they meet at the Factory, and Lang tries to catch him up. They head to the Silos so Luciano can see all the weaponry they got while he was gone, he's happy to hold a tommy gun. Lang doesn't want to call it a tommy gun (rip tommy devito). They head up to red trailer to check if there's anything left to move down to the new equipment storage building, Donnie calls Luciano and Lang makes fun of they way Luciano talks about the fentanyl event.

Don Meeting

Luciano mentions that they have a crew meeting soon, Lang wants to wait for the Dons are around to catch Luciano up, Arush calls and meets them at the docks. After catching up with Luciano about his vacation, Arush tells them that he ran into Locco hanging out with Sneaky (a previous pusher). Locco joked with Arush about suspicious feelings and a threat towards Cypress, but he didn't act on it. Lang details Andi's progress with her 1 on 1's, and then mentions the comments that Gigi made about the Fixer role. Lang notes that he and Harry were surprised that Gigi wanted more on her plate, Arush isn't surprised. Arush wants Gigi to be more involved, if she wants to be involved. Lang agrees, and based on her schedule, they haven't matched up. Arush wants to have less meetings, Luciano jokes about treason. Arush shares his feelings about Harry's attitude towards him, Lang reads the texts Harry sent last night about Arush, Lang stirs the conflict. They head over to the Factory for the crew meeting, Lang jokes about stirring Arush and Harry to Luciano.

Crew Meeting

A small amount of Cypress gathers for the meeting, Lang confuses Zayn for Martin because of his hair. Gigi begins the meeting with updates: moving items from red trailer to a new location (the warehouse they got by Knoxville), Jaycn's moonshine house in paleto and access to it, consider leaving heist tools in the communal areas for other people to use them, stick to buying stills for your specific people, keep the cars in the garage stocked for use or lose access. Lang texts Clark to give a great speech, Arush updates everyone about blooding out Locco and to continue hunting for the people left. Donnie reminds Arush about a missing lockpick blueprint, they suspect that Santana might have taken it. Luciano and Lang agree that they must do funerals for all the people they kill, worried about being haunted. Lang speaks up to warn everyone that they want active, positive people in the crew. He tells everyone about Andi and her role within the crew, aiming that they respect her as such. Clark begins his speech discussing the 250k quota he gave them last week, noting that some people expressed concern about it, some got lazy, but proved that there are other ways to provide value, like Larry with Knoxville. Coco tells everyone about a lime green car who's been rolling around Cypress, they agree to press this person and kick them off the block. Lastly, Donnie asks for 5 people to join him on the fentanyl event, the Don's tell him to just pick people even if they're busy. They send everyone off to end the meeting.

Queenie comes up to suggest getting a captain+ garage that is better controlled and managed, but Lang doesn't think it's actually that big of a deal. Lang notes that Queenie seems sad, Luciano claims that he asked her before, she just sounds like that sometimes.

Lang, Arush, and Luciano head back to the docks to have a conversation with Gigi. Gigi gives her thoughts on the roles they have currently and the issue she has with the layout of her role. Some people assume she's only money, some know that she's an operations manager/lead, others don't really know anything. She says she would rather have more people doing what she does, because sometimes doing what she does alone, drives her crazy. Lang explains Andi's role to Gigi, and that they told her about it, and then that Andi told them of her concerns about Gigi. Gigi explains what she said to Andi, and that she noted that the Dons might not listen to her, but otherwise she's fine with it. They ask her a few more times if she's comfortable with her role and status, she believes that Underboss is front-end and Treasurer is back-end, and they all agree. Gigi tells them that she wants to start having open 'office hours' with the crew, her own version of the 1 on 1's, but Arush doesn't think it's necessary. They thank Gigi for her time and offer to meet her later.

The Dons discuss what they heard in the chat with Gigi, Lang suggests that Gigi isn't being forward with what she wants, Arush agrees. Luciano suggests that maybe she just wants more on her plate, and they think she's too busy when she's not (she said this as well). They consider different options, Arush thinks this can be solved by defining the roles of Fixer and Consig, Luciano tells them what a Consig actually does: advisors to the top of the food chain (the dons). Luciano doesn't think she fits as a Consig because she would rather be more hands on, given more power. Lang notes that he's not offended by Gigi lightly shit talking them to other people like Andi, they all don't like it because it can make small issues bigger. Lang calls Clark down to get his perspective on the situation as well. Luciano proposes demoting or re-assigning captains to new objectives, Lang wants to demote people but believes it will hurt the crew morale.

Clark arrives and asks for permission to join the conversation, they tell him he doesn't have to ask for permission anymore. Clark gives his thoughts on the Gigi situation, noting that she feels overlooked by the Dons. He struggles with caring about her feelings because she tries to educate Clark on the Dons, when he believes he knows them pretty well already. Clark shares his confusion of where he stands on the ladder in comparison to Gigi and the Dons. Clark notes that Gigi did speak to him about the same things she said to Andi, that the Don's don't listen much or include you on ideas or meetings. Clark suggests that they speak to her, and they tell him they just did. They find what she said to them was watered down, or spun a little differently. Clark continues to tell them about her openly telling the crew during their meeting that Clark's quota idea was bad, so Clark had a private chat with her to remind her that it was disrespectful. They all agree this could fester into a bigger problem than it is, but they send Clark to prepare a job they can do together.

On the last thoughts with the Dons, Lang mentions that he doesn't want to be undermined to new members of the crew, and if it was anyone other than Gigi they would be killed. Clark calls to suggest they do a heist with Gigi to get her more involved, Lang doesn't want silly ideas. Lang and Luciano go get prepared for a job, Arush has to grab some pizza's so he heads out.

Lang and Luciano go to meet Gigi at her decorated warehouse, showing off the new armoury and personal farming area. Lang agrees to move everything left from red trailer to here, and Gigi cuts them some keys. Andi calls looking for Arush, Lang tells her that he forgot their meeting. Lang tells her they spoke to Gigi and hope to have resolved any concerns by the end of the day. Lang and Luciano head to the trailer, but stumble on a possible fentanyl car. Luciano compliments Andi's experience and work ethic.

Lang and Luciano gather up the rest of the red trailer supplies, Luciano notes that he misses Lang's batcave, Lang gets upset with him for bringing it up. They ferry items back and forth until Arush returns, Arush goes to meet Andi for the 1 on 1. Before leaving, they show Arush the warehouse they moved the red trailer to. Clark calls to say they're doing an Ammunation Heist, and they stop by Knoxville for some food. They run into Martin who is very happy to see them, Lang is sus of Martin's attitude.

Ammunation Heist

Clark sets up the job, Lang and Luciano get geared, Lang runs over Gigi by accident as he meets everyone by the Stables. They pick up Martin and spin by the Lucky Plucker Bodega (LPB aka Knoxville) for some food, and then Gigi's warehouse to get Martin some gear. Lang, Martin, Luciano, Clark and Zeek head to the crate, Arush will join them later. They drop Martin to grab some grinders, and start the contract. They find the crate in the Billabong and guard it until they are able to find the delivery time. Martin comes across someone driving around the block, Lang tells them to shoot, Martin goes down fighting someone. They change radios and notice AIR-1, they want to get the supplies from Martin to open the crate, but are suspicious of everyone driving around. They head to the beach to bail on the plan, and shoot at some cars that chase. They climb the pier and panic, leading Lang to give up and hop in the water. Lang swims up the beach to a nearby parking lot and checks in, Zeek calls to ask for a boat, Lang refuses and says he's in his own situation (lie). Lang decides to pick up Luciano and try to get the crate, he calls Clark to figure out the next steps, but yells at Clark for the mess. They circle the block in Lang's new stolen car, Lang is surprised that nobody suspects them. They stop by the clothing store to get changed and pass on crate, returning to Cypress.

Lang drops everyone off and heads to bed.
