11/14/2024 Kick Recap - "Business Is Business"

Lang grabs the RSX from the tow yard, running into Liya who compliments his outfit (she said he looked like a Christmas tree). Lang drives up to Azul and the Silos to check on equipment. Luciano calls to meet, Lang asks them to gather around the Grime Docks. Luciano, Clark, and Arush arrive to recap last night.

Luciano tells them that they had a crew meeting last night about ending the war, Luciano called Ste from the Manor to settle things. Clark and Luciano went to meet, one of them have personal beef with Leon so they wanted Cypress to hand him over. Luciano and Clark refused, they tried to make a business deal for materials instead. Lang and Arush are confused, Luciano says they also asked to buy Fentanyl bricks, but Lang and Arush think they're not as worse off for fighting the war. Arush suggests calling a meeting and shooting them down with Tommy guns, Lang thinks if you break a parlay then you'll never end the war. Lang then suggests the exact same idea (as a joke). Lang wants more sliders and armour, they want to call around and gather up equipment. Everyone agrees to continue the fight, the deal isn't good enough to stop. Clark suggets calling up a meeting and airing it out, Lang jokingly agrees. Luciano tells them they need clean cash to buy the equipment, but they only have washed. Arush tells him to use some of the cash from savings, and they'll clean some cash right now. Before they leave, Luciano suggests calling up a meeting and airing it out, they all think it's a good idea.

They head to Cypress and gather washed cash to take to the VU, Arush makes a second stop at Tequilala to drop the rest for cleaning. They head to the Hydra block to meet with Flippy for a weapon trade. Flippy seems confused about why they're meeting, so Luciano asks what they have available. After hearing the list, Lang has a sidebar where they discuss that the price is too high per gun. They are willing to trade 6 combat shotguns for 6 guns, and return to the bargaining table with that offer. Flippy doesn't really need the shotguns, they try to convince him that the combat shotguns are better than the pumps, and then Flippy asks about the 10 round slider. Lang is excited to hear about a 10 round slider, so they split off to bring the shotgun and the slider back to test.

The slider doesn't fit on either of the shotguns, Flippy isn't really interested in anything, but he's trying to find something worth trading. Cypress proposes 100 AR ammo, 1 combat shotgun, 10 white mags for 4 MP5s. Flippy wants 15 white mags, but wants to gamble on a death roll to who's deal they take. Flippy says if he wins, they add another shotgun, Lang agrees. They roll down from 1000, Lang loses and they leave to go package the equipment. 4Head isn't awake for long, so they go meet him at Vinewood Bowl.

They arrive and notice Martin's already there, Lang takes a call from Dev selling a 100m turbo. Lang tries to barter for other parts, Dev tells him to come by Mosley's when he's free. Arush and 4Head agree to bring whatever they got to Stab City and they'll see what they can trade. Lang is suspicious of Arush as he gathers the equipment from the Silos, Clark and Luciano note a code word that Arush used. On the drive over, Lang asks Arush about the code word, but Arush says they were talking about the cargo ship. Clark compliments Arush for being the youngest Don, Arush chokes Clark out from the back seat.

4Head and Future show Lang all the different guns they have, Lang jokes about them owning the cargo ship with all the loot they have. They agree to a deal where Cypress gets: 3 Assault SMGs and 1 MP5, for 4 Skorpions with 2 mags each, 2 tech 9s, and 37 shotgun ammo. On the way back to Cypress, the cops attempt to pull Lang and the boys over, they give all the guns to Arush and drop Arush into the water to escape with the equipment. Lang tries to cook the cops in a chase, ejecting Luciano and Clark.

-
He eventually dumps the car in the water and gets picked up by Vito's boat. Luciano is still being chased, Vito spins over to the docks. Luciano ejects himself over the dockside and hops into the boat, everyone is surprised he didn't go down from that. They boat up the coast and get picked up from Clark, who now escaped the cops. They return to Cypress and Lang meets someone to pay 35k for Stage 4 Dampeners. Zeek calls to offer some parts that he's collected, Lang only wants Stage 4 or 5 parts.

Lang calls Arush who is concerned with missing mags and where things have been moved, Lang complains that he didn't touch anything (he totally moved things around and doesn't remember anything). He teases and mocks Arush, Arush is trying to gather up the packages for the deals they made earlier. They get the product together and go meet 4Head and Future by the docks. 4Head tells them that while they were getting chased, they spoke to another gang and got a better offer (they assume the Manor). 4Head says that he didn't take the offer, but he has to consider it. Cypress gets frustrated that they have to add to their original deal, 4Head asks if they have more ammo to throw on top. Lang refuses the deal and walks out, Arush tries to explain that they have extra to add if they want, but Lang doesn't want to bend over for the deal.

They gather up the equipment for the deal with Hydra and meet by the docks, Lang mentions spring boots or grapple guns if they come across anymore. They exchange the product and thank them for the deal. Arush has Lang count up the white mags and they determine they have 32. Arush heads to bed but asks them to work on getting more armour and oxy. Lang and Luciano haven't checked on the butcoin farm in a while, Clark says that him and Martin have been on top of the graphics cards. Lang checks the butcoin storage and is surprised they only have 3k butcoin available. Martin arrives and joins them, Clark mentions that Vito got reimbursed butcoin for buying ammo for the crew. Clark calls to figure out exactly what it was for, Lang wants 1k of the 1.3k butcoin that was sent. Luciano tries to explain that he told them to buy the blueprints because he couldn't from his PC, but Lang doesn't care. Lang drives them to the civ docks and picks up the armour blueprints from the drone.

Martin asks them if Sophia is approved to handle butcoin, Lang explains that she is approved since people have been sporadic with management. Martin raises an issue with Ilya min-maxing heists by only running them as two man groups. Martin yelled at him and fined him, but he wanted to make sure the Dons knew about it. Lang doesn't want anyone in the crew doing that, they will bring it up at the crew meeting tomorrow. Clark had no idea that anyone was doing that. Martin mentions that some people were also hitting 24/7s, leaving before the cops arrive, and then returning after the cops leave. They all disagree with this style of heisting, Lang drops off some armour at the Armoury and returns to the car overhearing Martin's call with Ilya. Martin flames out Ilya over the phone, Lang and Luciano are proud of the way Martin is reprimanding him.

-
They joke about Octo being super upset about the vehicles in the city, Lang hopes that Octo can let loose a little more to save the vibes. They stop by the food court and Lang opens Frank's to start a shift. Luciano helps, Lang takes a call from Zeek for car parts that he's got. Zeek offers a set of coilovers and a 100mm Turbo, Lang agrees to take them. Luciano makes small chat about the war and if they're going to settle things, but Lang doesn't want to agree to what was offered so they must continue. They grab some food and head to the docks to have an impromptu Captain's meeting. While they wait, Luciano tries to explain the business side of things in hopes they can still work with Manor, but Lang would rather give anyone in Cypress the opportunity instead. They captains arrive, Zeek calls to ask if Lang heard the boat, Martin heard the boat as well.

Cargo Boat Heist

Teddy, Martin, Luciano, Clark, Lang, and Zeek race to the cargo ship with what they have, knowing that it's probably going end poorly. Martin drops Teddy, Lang, and Luciano to the ship and goes back for Clark and Zeek who couldn't find a boat. They move around the boat and take out the guards, Luciano tells Lang to search the crates for ammo. Other groups arrive and they shoot it out on the boat, Cypress goes down to Manor. Lang gets picked up by local EMS and calls Clark to figure out what happened.

Lang and Clark discuss potential strategy going forward, hoping to build an armoury fit for that specific heist. Lang calls Luciano to repeat the same instructions, strategizing what might be better for them on the next opportunity. They postpone the captain meeting to tomorrow, Lang heads to bed.
