11/19/2024 Kick Recap - "It Do Be Your Own"
Lang calls Luciano and Clark down to the docks to catch up on any news from last night. Clark arrives and explains the talk he had with Martin last night, sharing his perspective and coming to terms with the fact that he influenced CJ's decisions. Lang repeats what Martin said, but Clark stands on business. Clark tells them that Ricky had no idea, came to the Stables while they were chatting, and the crew didn't keep him close by. Ricky left, they heard gunfire outside, and assume he got shot down. Lang yells at Clark for letting Ricky slip away, and then they banter for a while about how badly Luciano and Harry operate in the same vehicle. After much discussion, og takes a meeting Luciano carries Lang around as they handle some errands in Cypress.
Lang, Luciano, Clark, Zeek, Bubbles, and Martin get prepped and head to the Vinewood 24/7. Lang and Martin grab a hostage while Clark and Zeek remain in the store. Cops arrive on scene, Lang waits with Luciano on a side road, they crack the safe but don't get a white card. They flee with both cars and escape the cops just by driving (props to Lang and Martin). They believe Ilya and Zayn are getting shot on Fudge Lane, so they head over, but comms become horrible and they are forced to regroup.
Lang and Luciano ask for constant communication going forward, Martin plans to pass the hospital before the next corner store, but Bubbles tells them Queenie and Coco got smoked in Cypress. They race to Cypress to find the Manor, but the cops chase them instead. They flee from the cops and grab new cars, Martin gets chased again, Lang grabs a boat since they can't shake the cops. Lang and Luciano pick up Martin and Zeek, they boat around before returning to the docks. Zeek predicts the Manor showing up, they have a shoot out on the boat hangers where Cypress prevails. They grab the loot, Lang bleeds out in the car, Luciano takes him to the hospital.
Lang gets back on his feet and they regroup at the Armoury. Lang and Luciano stop by the Silos, Gigi texts Lang that she's been kidnapped, they convoy out to find her. The cops stop them from interfering with a 24/7 that Gigi is being held hostage for, they wait outside and Officer McNulty jokes with them about how he's got it handled. Lang asks who has Gigi hostage, but McNulty only mentions the car colour (it's blue).
They decide to group up with the boys who shot and robbed someone outside Laundromat, and assist during the chase. Lang pits a few cops in comical ways, they swap a few times, Lang brings the chase in loops to Cypress. Zeek picks up Lang on a bike and gets chased by a bike cop, until Martin gets caught out by the Manor convoy. They lead the chase to Martin's body, but the cops don't seem interested in the Manor. They have a full shoot out with the cops in Cypress, they take a few out, but go down in the process. Larry picks Lang up and quietly rescues him, bringing him to the bodega to rest.
Larry returns and makes small chat with Lang, Gigi arrives and hides with them. Gigi recaps her story, but Sophia texts her that she was kidnapped, too. Larry takes all of Lang's illegal items and stashes it in the bodega. Larry and Gigi try to take Lang to the hospital, Gigi asks about Zahn, but Larry doesn't really know. Lang gets patched up and Martin finds and joins them. Martin said he was cut loose after the cops found him getting robbed, but they took his gun. Lang, Larry, Gigi, and Martin return to Cypress. They get chased on the way to the bodega, so Lang drives straight to MRPD and ejects Larry. They crash into the MRPD parking lot, the Manor shoots down Lang and Martin in the car, Gigi and Larry explain to the cops what happened.
Larry gets an escort from PD to the hospital, Lang gets back on his feet and hides in a nearby doctor's office. Lang calls Clark's voicemail and vents his frustration about the cops and the Manor.
