11/20/2024 Kick Recap - "Only One Way Out"

Lang calls Luciano because he got a text from Larry about the Manor wanting to end the war. Luciano says that they shot down Arush this morning after an Ammo crate, so it's pending a meeting. Arush got the parts out, no blueprints but 8 gun parts instead of the usual 5. Luciano wants to chat more, so they meet at the Grime docks.

Luciano and Clark arrive, Clark asks if they want to sell bricks of fentanyl to the Besties, but Lang would rather be petty for going back on their gun deal. Luciano wants to wait for Arush's thoughts, but somewhat agrees. Arush calls to meet, Clark recaps them on the gun crate (8 glocks, 120 bullets), the Manor pulled up right after they lost the cops and shot some of the boys down. Leon is in the ICU, Luciano thinks the Manor will take that to end the war. Arush arrives and Lang jokes about him taking a mid-week vacation, Arush said he tried to hunt the Manor all morning, but couldn't find them until the job. Arush tells them that Tony will be happy that you can now do A and S class boosts. Lang and Arush vote to end the war, Luciano votes against it. Lang complains that Clark let Ricky leave while he was talking to Martin, and they decide to have the talk with the Manor to end it. They head out to hit some 24/7s while they wait for the Manor to be around.

The 24/7 Incident

Lang and Luciano meet Martin and Zeek in Mirror Park, Lang is frustrated that Clark has his head in the clouds, so they fake like they were in a gunfight on the radio. Clark and Arush arrive late, Arush yells at Lang for wanting too much. Clark goes to get a hostage, Martin and Zeek hit the safe in the Vinewood 24/7. Ste calls Luciano to see if they can come to an agreement, but Luciano would rather agree to no terms. They crack the safe and don't find a white card, the cops chase them and split for an while. Arush is able to scoop up Martin and Zeek, Lang out maneuvers the cops, yelling at Clark and Arush the entire time. Lang gets spiked and drives through the Cypress train tunnels, a cop runs over Clark (Lang ran over Clark), and Arush scoops up Luciano, and then Lang on his bike to swap them out. Lang and Arush hide in the Cypress construction, Lang is frustrating Arush so much that he knocks him out. Lang promises that he's going to get his revenge.

After Lang gets juggled between multiple people, he finally gets to see the doctors. Lang meets with Luciano in the butchery, and he tells Luciano of his new life goal. Lang wants to leave Cypress, and expresses his frustrations (softly and dramatically) about how he's done with the crew. Luciano tries to tell Lang that he didn't have to run over Clark on the way out, but Lang thinks he's joking around, so he walks out. Luciano calls Lang back, but Lang is over everything, he's going to kill Arush and leave.

Lang takes a bunch of stuff from the Silos, Luciano tries to explain that he wasn't joking around, but Lang takes a stolen truck and grabs whatever he can from the Factory warehouse. Ignoring all the calls, Lang returns to his truck and finds Luciano and Arush inside. He pulls out his tommy gun and threatens to shoot them in front of everyone, until they get out and leave. Luciano asks Lang to talk, but Lang refuses.

Lang calls Windsong for another reading immediately, heading up to Paleto to get it done. Upon arriving, Lang tells her he's not paying for Luciano's cut anymore. He hands her 25k, she gives him his jewelry, and they head inside for a new reading. Lang tells her that the previous reading was correct, he has been betrayed and left his crew, so he's hear to learn what to do next.

Windsong apologizes for the reading not being as positive, but reminds him that his journey will lead him to an abundance of something.

Lang thanks Windsong for the reading, promising a favour should she need it. He wants to view the house nearby that her friend is selling, but will return later. Lang stops by the homeless camp before heading to the beach. Lang calls Clark to wish him well, Clark asks if he cleaned his blood from the car. Lang tells Clark to make him proud, and do what is good for Cypress - he's leaving. Lang tells Clark not to listen to Arush or Luciano, Clark questions why Lang is acting strange. He tells Lang there is only one way out, Lang tells Clark to come find him. He throws his phone into the ocean, and heads back into the city.

Lang gets a new phone, some food, and his car. He tries to get the parts installed, but Saab calls from the nearby internet café. Lang goes to meet him, where Saab shares how his life has been: he lost Aliyah, been gaming and gained a ton of weight. Saab claims he quit the life of a gangster, Lang is mad at him for calling. Lang yells at him for trying to kill him twice, Saab apologizes and reminds him of their kinship. Lang holds him up and checks his pockets, they head to the hookah lounge to see if Saab still has keys.

Saab doesn't have keys, MacGregor pulls up on them thinking they're Hades. Martin calls to give him some car parts, Lang is suspicious of him but meets anyways. Lang and Saab head to the Tuner shop to get his RSX upgraded, Andi calls but Lang doesn't say anything and hangs up. Every time Lang meets someone he asks if they're interested in joining their new motorcycle club. Lang tells Saab that they're starting Riders of the Storm MC, and the mechanics get Lang's car upgraded. He meets the mechanics at the bank and pays them for their work (25k).

Gigi calls to say he can't run from her, and to call her when he's done. Lang returns to the Tuner shop to get the car repaired, running into Marlo who helps explain the parts. Marlo gets the car upgraded, Lang picks up Saab and they drive around to test it out. Saab tries to speak motivationally to Lang, but Lang disagrees. Saab goes through his contact list to see who might help give Lang a safehouse, Lang passes by Frank at the apartments and gives him a demotivating speech. After driving around for some time, Lang runs into Liya at the apartments who yells at Lang for making Frank quit Frank's. Liya tells them that Frank kills the other employees she hires, so she needs him to remain at work. Lang tells Liya that everything will be alright, and to keep her head up going forward. She asks if he's okay, and that he seems off, he assures her he's fine.

Lang tells Saab he needs a safehouse by tomorrow, they spot Vingle Dan crawling by them, and then Lang heads to bed.
