Scene Summary:

Curtis is pulled over by Colt Cassidy, During the stop, Curtis brags about going on a date with Colt's sister, Leann Cassidy, which triggers **Colt’s **anger. Colt threatens Curtis, but Curtis decides to flee the scene and goes off the radar (VCB—Vehicle Contact Broken).

Curtis and Leann's Encounter:

Later, Curtis meets with Leann at a Vinewood house. He arranges for a helicopter to be on standby in case it’s a setup. Colt, however, tracks Leann’s location through her tracker and sees Curtis and Leann talking at the house. Angered by this, Colt attempts to arrest Curtis, but Curtis narrowly escapes by taking off in the helicopter.

Curtis's Intentions:

Curtis believes that Colt is a major hindrance in his relationship with Leann. He asks Leann for Colt's location, but she refuses to give it. Afterward, Leann informs Colt that Curtis is actively hunting him.

Haywood’s Gift and Curtis’s Plan:

Meanwhile, Haywood contacts Curtis about a mysterious gift—a bag full of nuts—and asks to meet. Curtis plans a coordinated operation with his squad, which includes Taco, Phantom, Arya, and Hazel. They set up a plan: Curtis would meet with Haywood and Lane, while Arya and Phantom would be in the backseats of a van, Hazel would be positioned on a roof in Rockford, and Taco would be on standby in a separate car for backup.

The Ambush:

When Curtis meets Haywood and Lane, the situation quickly escalates. Haywood gives him the bag of nuts, but then, to Curtis's surprise, he places a hood over Curtis’s head. The ambush begins. **Haywood **and Lane are assisted by Colt and other officers in the area. In the chaos, Haywood and Lane go down in the confrontation, but Curtis, Arya, and Phantom manage to escape on bikes.

Hazel's Escape:

Hazel , however, is trapped on the roof during the confrontation. Phantom, after removing the head bag from Curtis in Little Seoul, returns to help save Hazel . Meanwhile, Curtis and Taco take down a cop, giving Hazel the opportunity to climb down the ladder and escape.

The Escape:

With the team now reunited and everyone safe, they manage to escape the scene without further incident.
