12/2/2024 Kick Recap - "Always A Place"
Lang runs into Gigi at the apartments, she scoffs at his Penguinmobile. Lang gets changed at a clothing store, realizing he's in debt. He checks out the changes to the Forge and comes across everyone waking up. Lang finds a Desert Eagle in the storage and puts an extended mag on it. Liya tells Lang that she gathered a ton of wood over the weekend, and Lang tells her he's in debt. They want to do some money runs later, Lang takes his car to Mosley's to finish getting some work done. Lang, Martin, and Skipper throw on the slicks and Lang test drives the Penguinmobile.
Martin calls to see if Lang wants to do a Paleto heist into cargo heist with the south, Lang agrees. Returning to North Cypress, Andi pulls Lang aside to read him a short message from Denzel. Zeek calls to plan and give Lang supplies, but Lang tells him to talk to Martin instead. Andi tells Lang that she's closer to the north, and they're not really utilizing her in the south. Lang checks in with Andi to make sure she's alright, Andi thinks the vibes are good in the south, but it might just be her.
Paleto Heist
Lang, Martin, and Tony pick up Clark and head to meet Ilya and Zeek at the Paleto bank. Martin didn't bring a gun, other groups pull up to the Bank to see what the commotion is. Lang and the boys suspect that other crews are preparing for the Cargo, Martin breaks into the vault, Lang and Zeek help him loot. They get 18-20 gold bars and an FIB document, but no card for the cargo ship. They hop in both cars and get chased by the cops, driving back into the city. Zeek tries to tell them about what Marlo's experience with this heist, but gets yelled at because no one cares what Marlo did. Tony loses the cops and parks in a mansion drive way, Lang calls the cops anonymously on them and they get chased again. Lang gets a swap to his vehicle, picks up Tony and Martin, and then loses the cops.
They regroup to gather up the gold, and then drive up to the exchange. Lang exchanges a few bars and gets rolled (139k for 6 bars), they hide while Zeek and Ilya get money bags. Everyone exchanges the gold for money and they drive back to the city. Luciano calls to check in about the job, and ask for the butcoin farm (Silo) to be transferred out. He offers for them to cover the taxes and even help with Lang's debt, but Lang offers to call him back later. Martin jokes about ripping the FIB document in half to split the loot between north and south. They return to Cypress and split the money, everyone gets 70k dirty.
Tony calls Skipper to check in on his money run, Skipper woke up in the hospital after a jewelry heist. Lang checks on Saab, who also was on the heist and got shot down. He takes a small tour around the warehouse with Sophia, complimenting her decorating so far. Lang, Martin, Tony, and Sophia head out to help do some money runs, Lang and Martin make small chat about operations in the truck on the way back. They exchange the money order and race back to the Forge to deposit the money, but notice the Besties chasing them. Martin hops out to shoot at them, after they deposit the money Lang runs around the back of the Forge, but gets shot down on the roof.
After some time, someone drops him off at the hospital. Lang meets with Skipper outside the hospital, the Besties claimed that Cypress shot first. Lang notices they took his ID and his phone, Saab and Larry pull up and explain how they just shot them down minutes before at the heist they were on. Lang drops everyone back to Cypress and they chat about what they want to do next, Lang wants to do more money runs. Zeek calls to say the Besties pulled up, so they shot them down. Lang stops by the hospital to get bandages, but he's in debt so he can't. Saab gets handed thermal vision goggles by someone outside, Lang calls Clark to see how the South is handling things, but he's busy being chased.
