12/3/2024 Kick Recap - "The Bigger Picture"

Lang stops by the airport to try and get his car out of the garage, but it's locked up. A snowstorm hits and Lang makes a careful drive to the Forge. Tony tells Larry and Lang that Luciano is being weird, and mentions that Luciano was being awkward over a phone conversation and in person when he got food. Luciano compliments Tony's coat, asking if he got it from Hades. Lang isn't sure what Tony is waffling about, and questions if Luciano is right in pressing Tony.

Lang calls Clark to check in, but Clark was returning a call from yesterday to check in. They are all unsure if conflict is still on from SOB and the Besties. Lang and Tony are unsure if there is negative energy being stirred up between the north and south. Luciano calls to meet Tony, Lang wants to hide in the trunk, but they decide to just show up anyways. Lang and Tony arrive at the Silos, Lang notices Arush and warns Tony that he'll be passive until Arush bothers him.

Don Meeting

The 5 Dons gather on the top of the Silo and discuss conflict with SOB and the Besties. Arush tells them he spoke to the Besties this morning and confirmed there's no war or smoke with Cypress. Harry tells them he had a fight with SOB after they came through Cypress looking for Martin, he called Miguel after and confirmed that they were just looking for Larry and Martin, but don't want war. Arush wants clarification on how they handle wars and fighting outside gangs as North and South. After much yapping back and forth, Lang presses them for deciding to separate and changing the terms of the spillover. Arush helps focus them back on the point, and they agree to assist in conflict only when there is spillover. Tony raises his issue with Luciano's comment, Luciano tells him that he spoke to Ray and that Hades knows everything about the Cypress split. Luciano asks Tony if he told Ray, Lang presses Tony for telling Ray, Tony admits to leaking the info but tries to deflect. They all give Tony a hard time for making them look weak and spilling tea, even if it's justified. Everyone agrees to stay in contact when conflict starts, and to pass on information to their people about where they stand on the agreement.

Returning to the Forge, Martin calls and tells Lang he's in a meeting with SOB. Lang brings Tony to meet SOB with Martin and Saab. Alan tries to explain how he included Future with the counter they did on the jewelry store, Lang explains that by mixing gangs they create a grey area where retaliation gets muddy. Lang presses Alan for their demands, or to give all the stuff back that they took yesterday. Alan thinks ocean dumping took things too far, but Lang argues that anyone can ocean dump people and it's unfair of the entire city to assume Cypress is the only people that ocean dumps. Lang agrees to no terms and walks away, ending the conflict, for now.

Lang pulls Martin and Saab to warn them about taking gang talks without him, they understand and agree. Lang checks the supplies and notices they have 1.2m cleaned and stashed. Tony takes his 250k, Lang reminds everyone of the honor system and the 50k kickup they have on friday. Liya and Sophia tell them that the heating of the washers is affecting the growing and the drying of the weed, Lang spends some time considering how to fix it. Lang, Tony, Saab, Sophia, and Liya head out to run some moonshine, Lang watches over the contact spot while they do their runs.

Sophia doesn't take any splits of the money while she's finding her perfect recipe, everyone agrees for now. Lang and Tony head over to one of the clubs to drop off more dirty money to wash, they reflect on the Cypress split so far. Lang tells Tony that if they decide to fully split, Lang is down to poach more people from the south. Tony notes that he misses Clark. They stop by the bank to get their unemployment cheques, Lang gets 24k which brings him out of debt.

Tony is surprised that Lang was in debt at all, and offers him some money. Lang and Tony return to the Forge, Tony tries to explain the Fleeca time zones while Lang cleans up his car. They want to do some research on the Fleeca schedule, so they all leave together. Tony tells Larry he's surprised he lived, Lang and Larry are confused Lang takes a jump and crashes, ejecting and downing everyone in the car. Bubbles also crashes Sophia's car and blows it up, they meet at the hospital.

Lang crashes into a bunch of SOB cars outside the hospital, everyone helps Liya move the drying racks to her commercial warehouse in the southside. Lang circles the SOB block to show off his 'gangster', Liya asks if they're on smoke and wants to shoot them. They spend time making fun of Future, Lang takes Larry, Bubbles, and Martin to check if they have money cleaning in the clubs. Martin tells them he fit a bunch more racks in the bodega, but sent in a few to get repaired.

They drop Martin to his money run car and follow him to the drop off. A car spins around and chases them, Lang and the boys tell Martin to wait inside the club, and they have a shoot out outside. Lang goes down instantly, everyone gets robbed, but they don't find the money. The cops arrive, arrest no one, Martin and Tony return to the boys and load them up to leave. Martin tells them he got robbed in the club, he couldn't hide the money in time. Martin and Tony get the rest of the group back on their feet, Lang wants to gear up and go take on SOB asap.

Fleeca Heist

Lang, Larry, Martin, Tony, Skipper, and Bubbles head over to Pink Cage bank. og forgets that he has a meeting, so we get ripoozi pov Tony picks up Lang and puts him somewhere safe. They ask Tony to pick up money bags while they wait for the vault to open. Larry and Bubbles chat with the hostage, threatening him, and complimenting him. Martin loads up the bags and they leave. Close to Cypress they get pulled over, but the chase ensues. Skipper gets them boxed, Tony helps free them and picks Skipper up who got tased out of the car. Martin drives into the tunnels and loses the cops around civ docks, Tony picks everyone up and takes them back to the Forge.

Fleeca Heist, again

Martin, Larry, Tony, and Bubbles grab a hostage and head over to the Great Ocean bank. Martin begins to hack the vault, Larry keeps the hostage entertained. og returns Lang drives over to meet them at the Fleeca, but they're wrapping up. Martin tells them they got another Paleto card, so they have two now. They want to hit Paleto tomorrow when they have more time.

Zeek calls to check in, Lang tells him to speak to his leadership about whether the South is supposed to be involved in the North's conflicts. Zeek tells Lang that he was told to help if they were asked, Lang is confused. Lang says it's best for them to keep their conflicts separate, and at least confirms beef with SOB will escalate. Lang calls Martin to warn him about SOB for the evening, and then Lang heads to bed.
