12/4/2024 Kick Recap - "The Saab I Know"
Lang takes care of some errands and reflects on the state of rp, nopixel, and how things are going. Lang gets the Fleeca codes and meets with Tony at the Forge. Larry suggests making a trade to the Besties for some weapons, so they go to meet at Vinewood Bowl. After waiting in the snow for a long time, the Besties arrive and offer some guns for cash. Lang doesn't want to pay half a million for two hot guns, so Lang asks to buy shotguns instead. They barter for a while, Lang asks them to put together a package of guns and ammo for 500k, 4Head agrees.
Lang, Larry, and Tony discuss their options on the way back to Cypress. They pick up Martin and decide to head straight to Paleto. 4Head calls everyone to complain about stalling their gundeal, but Lang tells them there's 'cypress drama' he has to deal with. They adventure around looking for a hostage, but stumble into someone's unlocked property. They call Bubbles and Saab to join them, Bubbles brings a hostage on his way. Flippy calls to tell Lang that Hydra isn't contesting the Cargo today, and offers them helicopters to use, Lang thanks him for the offer but is concerned with how Flippy got the information. Lang yells at Tony for it, but calls back and learns it was Zeek.
Paleto Heist
Saab waits outside, Lang, Bubbles, Larry and Martin hold up the hostage inside. Martin breaks into the vault and finds an FIB document. Lang is disappointed with their luck, but they take the gold bars anyways. On the way out, they try to bait Larry to shoot the officer since he's alone, but Larry doesn't want to do it. They grab a rental van and some duffle bags to make the exchange in Paleto while they're there. They follow the van back into the city carefully, suspicious of other gangs. Saab finally returns to the radio telling them he got into a freak accident and woke up in the hospital. Lang calls Clark to complain about Zeek running his mouth, Clark agrees. Martin notes that they made 408k from that heist after stashing it in the Forge. They regroup, swapping Martin out for Liya and head to the jewelry store.
Jewelry + Bank Truck Heist
Lang makes several attempts on the store security until he passes it, he takes the chip and leaves with Larry and Tony. Saab takes too long to bring the hostage, so they race to the bank truck location. Lang finds the truck and thermites the back, the crew takes out the guards and helps loot the back. Carmine pulls up on a bike, Liya presses him, shooting at him as he takes off. Lang got a security tag and Saab found a green card, so they flee before more cops arrive. Larry tells them that he has beef with Carmine, who is dying to catch Larry doing crime (he's still clean but doing jobs).
As they return to the city, Larry calls up the Besties to finish the gun deal. Tony suggests getting a plane, Lang crashes and ejects everyone out of the car, but they survive. They make it to the airport, making small chat about Saab letting himself go. og learns how to temporarily fly a plane and a snowstorm hits They can't see a thing, so Lang crashes into the water just outside the airport. They swim back to shore and get in another plane, Lang crashes again but everyone else goes down. He calls Bubbles to drop them off from the hospital, and they take a new plane without a snowstorm to meet 4Head.
4Head notes that it took them even longer to arrive, but they came in a plane. Lang checks the trunk and thinks it's a great deal, but they have to get the money from the bank. 4Head brings out his security and presses them for not bringing the cash, but Lang explains that they won't carry 500k with them while they're beefing with other gangs. They leave to get the cash, Tony offers to cover the deal since he's the only one with money. They return with 510k, and make the deal. They load up the plane full of guns, and they fly back to Cypress.
