12/12/2024 Kick Recap - "CEO Style"
Lang runs into Bubbles and Martin at the Forge and they tell Lang about Hades taking Tony for hostage and then shooting him down after things escalated. Lang stops by the bodega to check on the butcoin farm (they only have 13 butcoin). He calls Martin to suggest stealing butcoin from the south, Martin admits that he was slowly and silently taking small increments of butcoin until they changed the keys of his old warehouse. Lang is proud of him for doing that, and they think Flippy might have some butcoin for sale. Martin thinks they have 2m in cash to use, but they need to confirm with Sophia. Lang wants to get the Fleeca codes for the day, Martin suggests trying his car, but Lang doesn't want to.
Lang crashes into Ilya and ejects, but leaves in frustration. Lang calls someone from the LL to get armour, but is disgusted with the price. He tells Martin and Bubbles that he spoke to John Cena, so Martin calls to be a fan. Lang cooks up a plan to sneak into the south warehouse, but they are afraid of becoming treasonists. They call around looking for butcoin options, but nothing seems worth while. Lang decides to do some sanitation with Bubbles, Martin will tag along but can't help since he'll lose his Lumber rep. Larry arrives to help convert materials and they trick him into helping them do sanitation, Lang pulls out his truck and reminisces (264 ⭐), Bubbles's truck is impounded so they go to get it.
Lang, Larry, Bubbles and Martin do a few sanitation jobs, Tony calls to check in and brag about the M16 he got. Lang offers for him to come hang with them, and they kill a lady crossing the street. After stopping to help her, she insults Lang so they leave her on the road. Later, the Besties pull up on their truck and press them. They learn that the lady they hit earlier is with the Besties, and they settle the beef without shooting or a robbery. After a few more rounds of sanitation, they decide to do drop some money in a club and set up a Fleeca job. Saab calls to say he's around and joins them, Larry tells them about how he might be a father to 3 kids.
A racer crashes into them and ejects everyone, but they recover well. Martin asks why they always leave the city to do Fleeca's, Lang just likes to be up north. Saab asks about the butcoin farm, Martin claims they're at 60 a day. They either got the time wrong or the bank was hit, so they travel to another Fleeca. Larry's truck starts turning off and smoking, but Lang persists. They arrive at the next bank and it's already being hit, they free their hostage which was the mime from the other day. Lang switches cars to the Penguinmobile and they take the recap from Tony over the radio about the other night.
Tony went to a Bank Truck that Cypress was robbing, but Hades wanted to counter so he hid nearby until they found him. Hades tried to use Tony has a hostage for exchange of the bank truck goods, Cypress refused so they got into a shoot out and everyone went down. Lang takes everyone to do some moonshine runs, and then Martin to meet with Shlomey for an engine block. Martin offers to replace Lang's engine so they stop by the Tuner shop. One of Tuner employees drops a box and explodes some parts, they panic and try to pull all the cars out before they chain explode. Tony puts his 50k from last week in Lang's office cabinet.
Lang and Martin consider getting the Penguinmobile's engine swapped, but it doesn't seem like they can do it currently. Martin shows Lang his car, Lang thinks it's insane! Lang wants to push for more Cargo Heists so they can get engine parts. Lang calls Zeek, who's busy winning a football game against the PD. Lang calls Arush for some bank cards, Arush warns him that the Besties are going to hit it soon, too. Arush meets near the Cypress Armoury and wants to give them 2 cards, but Lang only takes one.
