12/19/2024 Kick Recap - "Through Hell And Back"

Lang meets with Martin at the Forge, Martin was offered a free Cargo Card, but they both find it suspicious. The person offering started the heist instead, so they gear up to hit it. Lang and Larry can't find a boat, Lang gives up and doesn't actually want to do the Cargo Heist. Lang wants to attempt Maze Bank instead, but they need PNY cards. Everyone calls around looking for PNY cards, Larry doesn't have enough G6 rep to do the Tier 3 runs, so they need to wait for people who have them. Skipper wants to do a money run, so they head up to Yellow Jack to escort. They get a few of the money runs done, Larry talks shit about the Shaitan, and Lang warns him not to.

Buddha teleports Larry into the sky and he falls to his death. They take him to the hospital, Larry continues to disrespect the Shaitan. Liya stands on business and agrees with Larry. Lang calls Ilya to check in, things in the south seem good. Larry talks shit about Zeek, and then continues to speak flagrantly about the Shaitan. Lang doesn't want to believe Larry, so he leaves.

The Shaitan Incident - Buddha uses the Dev Menu to troll people

Buddha flies up to an island off the Paleto shores and teleports Larry to it. Buddha changes the weather to severe thunderstorms and begins to voice change growls to Larry through the ground beneath him. Larry begins to pray for assistance, so Buddha drops Liya on the same island, but she falls to her death. Larry tries to help drag her back to shore, but he gets teleported to a campfire and goes down. Martin, Skipper, and Bubbles arrive to try and help them. Buddha changes into a panther and stalks them, attacking them from invisibility. He drops a few grenades on Martin's car, and eventually let's them leave. Tony wakes up and drives up to help them, Buddha scares him away with the grenades.

Buddha stalks Edgar around as a small panther, spooking him as he hides. Edgar pleas for Jay's help, who arrives shortly. Edgar tries to hide in the nearby water, but Buddha becomes a shark and chases him around instead. Jay and Edgar look around for the Shaitan, but Buddha becomes a raven and flies around them. He follows them all the way back into the city and breaks into one of their stash houses. Buddha laughs maniacally around them to scare them, and then teleports to Andi who is meeting with South Cypress on the mountains. Beau tries to interact with Buddha, but he changes into the panther and attacks Luciano. He scares them with the grenades, Eve (who is there for some reason) recognizes the panther as Lang's cat Onyx.

Buddha continues to chase the northerners, who have grouped up with Edgar and Jay, around the city. Tony takes them to the Mine Shaft, Buddha laughs and grenades them until they leave. Tony tells them he didn't believe them before, he does now. They drive to the hospital to pick Skipper back up, Buddha becomes a version of Larry to confuse bystanders. Buddha, as Larry, terrorizes the people gathered outside the hospital. After stabbing a bunch of the northerners, he attempts to stab a few cops. The cops try to shoot him as he changes into the Christmas Yeti, and they laugh about experiencing a group hallucination. Buddha travels to Windsong giving a tarot card reading to South Cypress. He becomes a crow that stands on the table between them, but changes into the panther. Flickering to be visible, he spooks Luciano and everyone gathered in Max's Tavern.

Returning to Lang, he 'wakes' up in his office where he fell asleep watching Cars 3. He calls Martin to check in, asking if he can get a hold of tires for the Sandal. Martin is opening car parts outside the Forge, Lang calls Saab to get a recap of what they've been doing. They offer to come by the Forge and see him, so Lang wants to have a meeting with the northerners. Lang stares at the Lighthouse painting, reflecting on people that have been long gone.

Everyone gathers in Lang's office and watches some of Cars 3 with him. They each give different notice of when they'll be away for the holidays, kick ups are not expected until the 6th. Skipper asks if they can set up the HQ, but Lang thinks Teddy's PC is still scuffing the satellite. Tony puts on a racing movie, Martin discusses getting a helicopter for the north. They are fascinated with how good the surround sound system is. Lang calls everyone over to the studio for today's session, Tony and Larry get in the booth and rap about their love for Martin and Lang. They send Saab in the booth to join them, and then Skipper, too. Larry starts to rap about the Shaitan, everyone stops the session and warns him, Larry immediately gets grenaded.

They take Larry to the hospital, Martin stays back and notices Buddha disguised as Larry in the warehouse, so he gets stabbed. Buddha follows them while they boost, Larry continues to disrespect the Shaitan. They stop in Paleto and run into Delver, Larry gets Delver to say "fuck the Shaitan", so Buddha has to attack him. They continue on, Larry gets out of the truck, so Buddha swaps spots. Eventually Larry calls Saab, and they discover that Larry isn't with them. They all jump from the truck in fear, but they are very confused.

They drive to the hospital to help Bubbles back on his feet, but Buddha confuses them when he teleports Larry to them. They are unsure which Larry is real, Tony tries to run him over. Larry is unsure how he got the hospital, Larry thinks they're messing with him, Buddha flickers in and out (as Larry) to continue to scare them. Larry thinks he's going crazy, Liya thinks Larry is possessed. Buddha teleports Larry to the hospital roof, Larry tries to challenge him, but runs away after he shoots. Buddha returns him to the rooftop many times, until Larry asks what the Shaitan wants. The Shaitan wants respect, but Larry still refuses and punches the doppelganger.

Buddha changes into the Panther and chases Larry around the roof until he kills him, reminding him to respect the Shaitan. Larry joins the rest of the northerners who are heading to the lighthouse. Buddha flickers the Larry clone and throws their vehicle from the road. Tony tries to kidnap someone as a sacrifice, but has to take a nap. Buddha becomes Tony to try and fool everyone, but they notice the different outfit. After messing with them for long enough, Buddha heads to South Cypress to confuse them. He becomes Arush, shoots Zeek down, and then turns into a crow. Luciano and others try to shoot the crow, but it fades into the distance.
