1/30/2025 Kick Recap - "Better In Balance"

CJ offers Lang a line of coke to help wake up, Lang shows her the tower. She calls it a crow's nest, Lang calls her crazy. They play a bit of basketball, CJ reveals that she gets her coke from a motorcyclist named Ziggy. Lang and CJ banter about if the shoes made her go crazy, but CJ has a few more weeks of the punishment. In the meantime, CJ has been racing. Lang tells CJ about the Limers and their leader who has been missing. Lang remembers that he has a wedding to attend today, but he also wants to have Ilya's funeral.

Lang spends lots of time designing and decorating the funeral for Ilya. Clark arrives early, Lang tells him to come back. Lang finds out that Larry and Bubbles are having a shoot out with the cops, so Lang calls to flame Larry about it. Larry and Bubbles robbed a cop, Lang gets mad since they knew the funeral was about to be held. Lang yells at them over the radio, hoping that even the cops hear. Lang tries to get the police to bring Larry to do his speech in cuffs, but they can later. Lang shares his disappointment with the Northerners that arrive, and heads to the wedding instead.

After getting a quick repair at Tony's garage, Lang gets dressed and arrives at the wedding. Lang makes small banter and short conversation with different civilians, convincing a few to give him money out of pity. CJ calls to get Yuno a key for the Forge, and to ask if everyone can come to the wedding. The wedding was advertised on twatter, so everyone seems welcome. Yuno arrives, Lang tells him to go put a suit on. CJ does a line of coke, Lang is starting to get annoyed with the North. He walks off, taking the mic and reporting that the groom was kidnapped. Lang returns to Yuno, who was told to start smoking. Saab chats with Nino about a case of his involving an EMP gun. Lang grows restless, Nino suggests marrying off Yuno and charging the state.

Lang announces that the groom has arrived, and that Saab is here with a warrant. Christian, the groom, informs Lang that Jesus will be arriving to officiate the wedding. Shortly after, Jesus flies in by helicopter and announces the first musical guest. Liya says that the groom isn't over his ex (Officer Peach), and she heard it from the bride's best friend. Lang threatens a clown, Liya confirms that Larry went on bench trial, and Lang tells Peach about the rumours. Lang decides to leave for the funeral, he can't wait any longer.

Lang tries to get Saab's help on the speech, CJ offers help but can't get Larry and Bubbles out of court, Lang grows frustrated with everyone and begins the funeral. Lang gives a detailed speech about Ilya's progression in the crew, how he joined, and how he left. Lang gives Saab some time to speak, and he does a decent job at speaking to Ilya's traits. Lang opens the floor for people to speak. Cuddles starts by revealing how close they were, and she delivers a sad(?) poem about Ilya and then requests Clark's help to spit on the casket. Harry speaks proudly about his hard vouch and asks for peace amongst themselves, Clark speaks about Ilya's work ethic, accountability, and companionship. Lang returns to the podium to remind everyone that they should uphold tradition no matter what, giving his final words to Ilya. Saab helps carry the casket to the hearse, Lang asks everyone to follow him to Cypress for the burial.

As Lang sets up the gravesite, Teddy gloats over Ilya's casket. Lang offers everyone some final room to speak, Liya thanks everyone and mentions that "the streets are empty since Clark killed Ilya". Lang returns to his nest, and shows it to the rest of the North. Lang tries to go to bed in peace, asking the North to not start a war while he sleeps. Lang offers to get Yuno a bed in the nest, the North leaves to check on Larry and Bubbles. Lang heads to bed.

2/21/2025 Kick Recap - "Too Much Mustard"

Liya tries to introduce Lang to Goose, the dog, but Lang pulls out his gun and shoots him. He heads inside the Forge, CJ and Liya take Goose to the hospital. CJ calls, very upset that Lang shot her dog, Lang advertises his funeral business. He travels around the city dropping washed cash in the clubs, deciding he'll attend the town hall at the Kortz Center. Lang let's the North know that he's at the meeting surrounded by cops and rival gang members (no mask with a warrant).

After some time, Carmine passes Lang and tells him to behave. Larry asks Nino about abolishing Snr Buns, so that he's not forced to use a restaurant to make his food. Lang and Nino both tell Larry that he has to open his shop more and act like a business for them to consider any real changes. Lang decides to speak, complaining about the loose animals in the city (dogs). 4Head calls to pick up the order of mags, Lang returns to the line and delivers a sermon style reading of Rick Astley's 'Never Gonna Give You Up'. Lang and the North leave, the cops chase Lang for his warrant.

Lang drives around the city, running into the sewers and being chased on foot. In efforts to catch Lang, they accidentally shoot him. Lang hops out of the sewers, and into Saab's nearby car. Saab loses the cops and Lang thanks him for finally being locked in. Lang and Saab get changed, Sofia picks them up and takes Lang to the mag exchange in the airport. Lang makes the deal for 40 extended deagle mags, informing the North that they can use it. Skipper is awake, Lang is excited to put his new engine in the Dubsta2. Larry asks where they get bullets, Lang leaks that his connect is Arush. On the way to the Tuner shop, Sofia tells Lang that Hank and CJ got caught by the cops.

Lang and Skipper put the new engine in the Dubsta2, but they are disappointed with the difference. They spend a lot of time testing the engine in different trucks, unable to find something they're happy with. Kitty calls to clarify that they have no beef over Saab v Marlo incident, Lang was never worried about their relationship since it's been strong for so long. Kitty offers to bother Octo any time they need him for something. Lang and Skipper learn that you can't test parts on test drives (you lose the parts, but og can get them back).

They pick up Sofia and return to Cypress, she tells them that a Marshall was seen snooping around. Everyone looks around for cameras, Sofia finds one. Lang blurs it out, and they look for any more. After clearing 5 cameras, Lang calls Luciano and informs him. They agree take out the Marshall on sight, next time. Saab confirms that CJ has still not been sent up from the previous chase, they are worried that she's still in a bench trial. Lang buys an STX to see if they can fit the engine inside of it, the Marshall calls to meet. Saab chases someone suspicious, it turns out to be Larry.

After swapping the engine a few more times, they decide to sit in on CJ's bench trial. Lang grows frustrated by the poor legal team defending CJ, attempting to coach them from the gallery. Lang wants his Rocket ready in case he's chased, so Skipper puts new slicks on it. Lang returns to the court case until he is angry enough to head to bed.
