2/19/2025 Kick Recap - “Old Man Lang”
Lang and CJ discuss how old he is, and if she gets any sleep. He calls Arush for the ammo he wanted yesterday, but Arush wants to take his time and not talk about it over the phone. Lang is annoyed that he has to wait, so Arush agrees to rush it one time. Lang and CJ chat about Gemma being worked into the security job today, CJ shares that the Saints are the new shotgun connect. Lang gets pinged to the ammo, CJ rides along and relays that Jacob wants to chat with her and Lang. Skipper is now a deagle seller, selling them for 20k each, but Lang wants them at cost. Lang meets Arush and Teddy, exchanging 100k for 1k rifle bullets. On the way back to town, CJ laughs about her camera in the Marshall’s office going unnoticed.
Lang decides to put all the guns, mags, and ammo back in the Forge. Liya helps him carry it all in, after picking it up from the shed by the Rest. Bubbles notices the guns and is excited, but Lang warns him not to waste them. Liya wants to do a money run, but Lang would rather look at cars at Mosley's. He wants to look at more cars, but decides to take Liya to drop off the washed cash, eventually ejecting and needing a repair from CJ. They want to heist the jewelry store, Liya asks to bring Zero, but Lang doesn't want to bring anyone that left when Jack left.
As they get to the jewelry store, they realize it's been heisted, so they pivot to Paleto bank instead. Lang hacks the vault door, they make small talk while they wait for it to open. CJ hacks the gate, they loot the cash and find another cargo card. On the way out, Lang crashes into the cop car who doesn't chase them, and they return to the forge to drop off the loot. Saab and Skipper are awake, Lang wants Saab's car and as many deagles as he can get from Skipper, at cost. Lang calls Zeek to see if they want the cargo card, they aren't interested. After some discussion, Lang decides they should do the cargo heist. He calls the South back to see who's around, but after hearing Harry offer 50k for the card, Lang doesn't want to take any of them anymore.
The North gears up for the cargo heist, Lang runs into Zeek by boats. Zeek wishes them luck, Lang finds him suspicious and worries about drama from the south. They grab a few boats and head to the cargo, clearing the guards and hacking into the captain's quarters. Lang takes out the captain and Skipper confirms they have 3 Tuner crates on the ship. Lang and Bubbles get access to the cargo helicopter, and they carry the first crate to old Cerberus tower to open it. In the first crate they find a pile of drift tires and an engine block. In the second crate they find street tires and another engine block, and in the third crate they find the same things. Once all the crates are done, Lang and Bubbles fly around until they have a safe place to get picked up. They decide to land at the top of Mt.Chilliad and bike down, Lang yells at Saab for being stupid.
Larry picks everyone up and they drive back to Cypress, Clark calls Larry to meet, Larry thinks the South might be mad. They hide all the car parts in the Forge, CJ tells Lang that the cops might have Gemma's number from subpoenaing CJ or Saab's phone. Lang wants to confuse the cops by giving Gemma a new 'old' phone. Lang and CJ drive up to Gemma's new hiding spot, and talk her through the plan over the next few days. Gemma is a little concerned with working near Carmine, but will do her best. Lang wants to get her working security tomorrow, she thanks them for their hard work and apologizes if she's stressed them out.
