3/4/2025 Kick Recap - "Art Of The Drive By"

Lang crashes into a woman jay walking, but helps her get back on her feet after noticing she's scuffed. He heads to the pier and scubas for all of his equipment he left in the chase, finding it in the reef. Arush calls to ask when he can hit Paleto, clarifying that it's usually an hour and a half after storm. Buddha hops on GTA5 to check out the updated visual graphics. Returning to the Forge, Skipper mentions that they are having conflict with other gambling dens. Lang and Skipper head over to the new '404' casino, where Lang hopes to sue or beat up Zahn who took their brand. Lang notices Courtney twatting negatively about Blarney's and hopes to drive by his gambling den later. Lang doesn't believe that Skipper is his real name.

Lang and Skipper get the Buffalo STX upgraded in stage 5 parts. On the way to the Tuner shop they crash into a chase, and while they banter with the cops, Luciano crashes into them, too. Larry calls for Lang to come to Blarney's for some high roller rounds. Lang parks the car and notices the colour fade, Skipper confirms that the STX can be lockpicked. Liya tells them about the Auction for seized cars and property, they pick up Bubbles and Larry to attend it. Lang is really impressed with the STX's ability to 'wheelie'.

South Cypress is shooting cops, so Lang and the boys watch. Lang decides to spin by the Mirror Park repair shop, but they are surprised at how many people are there. Skipper calls the clowns for some molotovs, Lang calls Wyatt for the shotgun order. After getting the exchange done they stop by the clowns to get the molotovs, and Lang orders a grinder for their Ammunation crate. The drone is just outside the South Cypress warehouse, they run into Gigi while they wait for the timer. Gigi tells them that Arush and Queenie got arrested from the shooting earlier, she wishes them luck as they head off.

Lang, Skipper, Larry, and Bubbles pull up to the crate and keep watch while they wait for the timer. Officer McNulty calls to yell at Lang about Blarney's, Lang realizes it's Irish drama and hangs up. The cops pull up to the crate, everyone hides. The cops are swarming the area, explosive canisters on the nearby house begin exploding causing everyone to panic. Jonah gets found in a bush, so he runs to the water. Larry texts Lang that they should leave, the cops were pinged from locals, but Lang wants to wait and kill the cops if they have to. Larry gets found so they jump out of the bushes and run to the cars, Lang bumps Nekoda's car on the way out considering shooting him.

They send Carlos to pick up Jonah and Lang drives back into the city as they are chased. Lang loses the cops by doing a wheelie and hopping the highway divider. They drive back up to Grapeseed to hit the crate now that the delivery time as surely passed. Lang opens the crate and finds: 10 deagles, 20+ mags, and 200+ bullets. They load up the car, Carlos breaks the crate, and they head back to Cypress. Lang wants to give Carlos and Jonah some guns and ammo for helping them, especially now that they have so many. Larry heads to bed, Lang and the boys go help some moonshine runs.

(VOD 3:51) The unknown number calls to complain about Lang not being around friday. He offers Lang rifles made by his orphaned children, so Lang orders 12 AKs for 540k. Lang is given the account code to wire the money to (64268164), but he can't stop laughing. After they agree to the deal, Lang tells the rest of the car about the call and they laugh about how silly it was. On the way back into town, they get a few money runs done. Lang wants to get his cards read, so they stop by the Liquid Library.

Lang's reading is of these cards: Card of Death, 7 of Cups, Ace of Wands, Queen of Wands, Page of Cups, The World, The Star, 4 of Cups, 8 of Cups, 6 of Swords. The reader helps communicate the message through these cards, convincing Lang that he is inspired by his own passionate decisions. In spite of confidence, he has trouble communicating feelings and ideas to the people around him. It's time to start wrapping things up on this chapter, and begin preparing for the new journey. The Star should show him that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and the people who surround him actually guide him into poor decisions. Lang looks at Saab and Skipper, the reader reminds Lang that he should feel confident to move forward and move on to better places, while recognizing the scars he has of the past. Lang is satisfied with his reading, expecting something much worse.

Lang wants Saab to get his reading so Saab's cards are: King of Wands, 7 of Coins, 8 of Swords, Card of Justice, 2 of Cups, Card of The Devil, 8 of Wands, Knight of Coins, 6 of Cups, 9 of Coins. Saab is going through a rebirth period, he has been sacrificing towards something that isn't paying off, and the anxiety of it all might have him feeling trapped. Saab is a person of balance, and a believer of karma. His beliefs of equality stem from respecting the people he has relationships with. The reader warns that he might lean into darker themes or ideas based on the pressure of these things. His environment shows that he's doing a lot of what he doesn't want, but is doing it because it has to get done. Saab is working towards progression, but at the cost of his own self. The reader thinks that Saab will reap the rewards of his efforts at some point in the future.

Lang has Skipper and Bubbles get their readings next, both are somewhat spooked by the expected outcome of their lives. Lang accidentally steps into the fountain on his way out, Skipper and Saab both join him, they writhe on the ground in pain from being shocked. Bubbles reflects on his regret being honest, and Junior (his brother) being blooded in, and eventually blooded out. Skipper shows Lang the two parking spots by the Forge, Lang heads to bed.

Buddha joins Capped set the scene for a Faceless interaction. Buddha walks by as the white mask a few times and considers what his voice would be for the character.
