Lang and Saab watch over CJ as she makes the oxy exchanges in the different spots. Sofia and Bubbles arrive to help keep watch over CJ, Lang nearly shoots Bubbles out of suspicion. Bubbles tells them that he's been shot twice by cops mistaking their gun for a taser. Lang wants to pick up the ammo from Arush, sending Bubbles and CJ to grab a hostage and prep for a paleto heist.

Lang and Saab get hit by some racers on the way to get supplies. They meet the rest of the North in Paleto and begin the heist. Officer Carmine arrives on scene, yelling at CJ through the glass doors. Lang jiggle peaks from the hallway, interrupting and scaring Carmine. Carmine calls Lang trying to discuss terms over the phone, but Lang argues that he's on his yacht on vacation. They aren't able to hack the vault door, so they stall for a long time. Raising concerns with how they might get breached, Lang finally hacks the vault door and takes another call from Carmine. Carmine vents about having to work with rookies and his frustrations with having to let them learn through difficulties. Lang has no idea what he's talking about, reminding Carmine that he's in South Florida. Carmine doesn't believe him, so Lang pings him inside the Paleto bank. Carmine asks everyone if they are currently located in South Florida, but nobody gets it. They break into the vault, finding gold bars and a cargo card.

Opal agrees to not process the VAF, but if found that Lang is lying, they will process it later. Opal asks about Cassie, and any information Lang has about her. Lang tells them that he wasn't close to Cassie, and wasn't close to her, but knows who broke her out of jail. Lang offers to tell them who broke her out as long as his name is sealed and can not be found later. Lang tells them that Ursula broke her out of jail by walking her out while on duty as a DOC guard. Opal wonders if Lang knows what happened to her body, but he was simply told it was disposed of. Lang expresses frustration with the police department and the way they handle investigations. Lang was just joking about snitching on CJ to scare her, and reminds them that he has a funeral service so if they want to hand Cassie's body to the warden, they can handle the service. Opal asks about Lang shooting Goose, the dog, but he doesn't recall such an act. Lang hates happiness, and the dog was making his people happy.
