3/18/2025 Kick Recap - "Contact For Cocks"
Lang handles some errands and takes a call from Arush, who's bragging about things going so well. Arush tells Lang about the temporary Underboss election he's holding. The South is voting on Zeek or Queenie, associates count as half a vote, and Don votes count as 2. Lang thinks this is a waste of time, Arush claims it will keep people busy. Arush continues to brag about buying a boat for 2.7m, and how he manages the weed pushers like prisoners. Lang is happy to hear that Teddy is around, especially since he's working closely with Arush as an ammo connect. Arush wants to put 10% interest a week on Saab's debt, but Lang says they have the money together and will pay him later today. Arush wants to take Lang for a test drive on the boat, but remembers that it blew up after a job. He offers Lang the boat for jobs since he was surprised that it went so fast.
Lang looks for Jojo to check out the sportsbook and shoots a local inside Blarney's. Bubbles gets shot as well, Lang takes him to the hospital. Tony calls to see if they're up to anything special today, Octo is around. Lang opens up Blarney's and loses a dice roll to Future (-150k), so he closes and holds a meeting in the back. Larry suggests they start 'Blarney's Picks', Bubbles offers to track it. Liya arrives with a bike and crashes through the wall, but nobody takes responsibility for it. Lang wants to have the horse race on friday, since he's away on Survival next week. Larry suggests the Knox family for the horse racers, Bubbles and Jojo will work on the flyers. Lang tells them that he has a connect that will bring him fighting chickens from Brazil, so they can have an event for that in the sewers. Officer Sawyer and Peach arrive on a bicycle, requesting to GSR test Lang. Lang steals their bike, does a lap and gives the bike back.
Saab is awake, so Lang blames him for Blarney's being down so bad. Lang fills Saab in about the upcoming events, reminding him to collect house splits (something he forgot to do earlier). CJ meets Lang in the nest to tell him that Edgar is alive. She noticed his name in the newspaper last night, and Princess brought it up during a short discussion mentioning that he's lost most of his memory, too. Cypress is hot, the Besties and the cops are in a shootout outside the Forge. Everyone watches as the scene gets handled, Larry is happy to hear people shooting, Lang calls the cops on people the cops don't see. CJ finds Isaac quite desperate as he's been calling and trying to meet with them again, she also got a text from Alice asking about how they got involved. Lang understands that their relationship is fragile, she doesn't really trust them. A helicopter flies over the nest, so Lang and CJ shoot at it until it leaves.
Lang takes Saab to go kidnap Shang if he's around, but the North notices that Paleto might be free. Lang brings supplies up, CJ radios that the Besties and Hydra are already there. Lang tells them to shoot the hostage, but the cops arrive, too. Lang and Saab arrive in Paleto and wait nearby, Alan pulls up and mocks them, so Lang hops out and shoots him down. They leave Paleto, pleased with taking out Alan and causing chaos for whoever is hitting the bank. Everyone returns to Blarney's, Lang and Larry are suspicious of the 'vibe'. CJ met Ursula in disguise, she calls Lang to kidnap and torture her, Lang is worried she is mad about Cassie and because he threw her under the bus, but she didn't sound upset.
Saab takes more bets at Blarney's, Lang returns to 'automated messages'. Alan calls Lang to threaten him, asking if they have a problem, but Lang hangs up on him. Lang warns the customers of Blarney's that the Besties might be rolling up soon. Martin comes by, Zeek comes by, Alan calls Martin and threatens him, shooting begins outside of Blarney's shortly after. Lang hides in the back office and plays songs over the PA system.
