3/19/2025 Kick Recap - "Adapt Or Die"
Lang takes care of some errands before storm, running into Tony at the food court. He stops by the Liquid Library and chats with Max about business opportunities and how he can improve. Lang gives his best advice, but Max ultimately learns that he's got to build better relationships with people. They are interrupted by a ton of gunfire outside, they run out and hide behind the gate to watch. tsunami hits Lang runs into Larry at the forge who tries to show him some new car tech he has. Bubbles, Skipper, and CJ join them as they chat about someone undercutting ammo prices, Lang wants their number to block them. Lang encourages them to roll out on the Lumber Company, so they head over.
Lang shoots at the door, but nobody comes out. They leave threatening notes on the door, Lang tries to sound hip. They decide to take care of a few money runs, Lang banters about the Toronto Maple Leafs, CJ tries to defend them. They continue to make fun of the Leafs, CJ is not impressed. Bubbles and Larry try to make Blarney's gambling more legit, but Lang reminds them to keep it chill. Wyatt calls Lang to report that one of his employees saw them shoot at his door, Lang has no idea what he's talking about, but informs him to call Larry. Larry and Wyatt arrange a meeting to discuss things, Larry tries to sound ominous.
Returning to Blarney's, Lang apologizes to the guests for the damage to the place since the last shoot out. Flippy (the person) tells Lang about the petition to the DOJ and his progress on changing the VAF law. Lang notices Officer Opal twatting out for Cypress, so he calls her to yell at her, but she's just asking for permission to use the area by the docks. Lang calls one of the Justice's to ask about any members of the DOJ who have recently been suspicious or fired, but they aren't sure. Lang calls Arush to watch the Temporary Underboss election, Zeek wins by 1 vote. Zeek can only be Underboss while he maintains an Italian accent.
Cuddles pulls Lang aside to ask about his issues with Goose, the dog. Lang claims he loves Goose and wants to see him, but she hasn't seen him around recently. Lang asks her opinion on Zeek being temporary underboss, she thinks he's a good leader during war and would give his life for the crew, but certainly isn't Clark. Lang checks in with Cuddles, confirming that he paid her for the rings. She asks if they like the rings, but he's still waiting for the right time to give them out. Lang wants to take Flight School when she's available, but he has to get approved by the PD. Lang expresses his frustration about being profiled, but they head down to the airport anyways. Cuddles fills in the documents, letting Lang know its 10k a lesson (3 lessons), and then an exam with someone that isn't her. Lang takes her back to Cypress and thanks her for her help.
Lang stops by the food court and runs into a Skeleton man, CJ calls to request Lang for a Paleto heist. Lang tells the Skeleton man to blow up the food stalls, he giggles in response. Lang pulls him aside to discreetly give him some C4 that he finds, the Skeleton man is extremely excited. Lang tells him that his name is Harry Brown, and he should call when he needs more bombs. The Skeleton man excitedly plants the C4 in the food court, Lang sticks around to watch. He gets distracted meeting a man from Texas, confusing him with a hockey player. Lang makes small chat while he waits for the bomb to be planted, Skipper and the guys arrive to tell Lang that they're ready.
Skipper warns Lang that there are people with ARs near the bank, but it's just Jay Hobbs. Lang arrives and banters with everyone about being the old man who always has to hack, after some time they break into the vault and get the loot. Lang shows off a police badge as they leave, the chase is much slower since Lang notices the SUV has expired brakes. Lang can't hand off the stuff to CJ in time, but swaps her out at Red Garage.
