3/25/2025 Kick Recap - "Survival Episode 2: Not Like Us"

Lang calls Arush to try and see if rumours have spread about the conflict in the North, but Arush doesn't Lang the impression that he knows. He decides to speak to Arush about it and gauge his opinion, but he takes too long to meet so they agree to chat after storm. Lang wakes up after storm and tries to avoid everyone, he calls CJ to meet at the Rest. CJ hasn't heard much outside of what Lang knows, Lang is interested in hearing from Jonah about his perspective. Lang and CJ review the evening, CJ tells Lang that they clearly have no idea that they're in the wrong. Jonah calls from prison, Lang offers to pick him up. On the way, CJ reads some texts from Martin that guilt her into standing up for Larry and Bubbles, but Lang argues that it's pathetic of Martin to do that, since he abandoned them. Lang believes that Martin could have set things up for the crew to run smoothly, even if he did go away, but he chose not to and comes around whenever he wants.

They pick up Jonah and take him to a secluded area, Jonah begins giving his recap of the events. So far, everything sounds the same as Liya's story. He gets equipment and keys to a property where he can work out of, but needs water so he asks Larry for supplies. Larry gets upset and claims that the fentanyl thing is 'his thing'. Jonah clarifies that once they met, Larry pulled out his gun and said "tone it down", Liya pulled out her gun and shot him. Bubbles was really sad and said "Ah Liya, why did you do that?" and pulls out his gun and shoots her. Lang asks if Jonah heard mention of anyone getting oceandumped, but he doesn't remember. Jonah recalls that one of the Knox's was there in Larry's vehicle, and that Zahn drove by after the shooting, so he's pretty sure he saw what happened. Jonah thinks they tried to spin the story that Larry put his gun away, but he confirms that Larry never put his gun away. Lang asks if he's interested in being involved with their group, even if people die, but Jonah likes Blarney's and what he's made so far. Jonah tells them that things for Larry and Bubbles are pretty bad, they expect to be blooded out and still hold resentment towards Liya from the 404 days.

They leave Jonah behind and head to Survival, CJ thinks Jonah was being honest. Lang thought he was lying until he sounded unbiased. Lang thinks this entire thing is stupid, and they are left to the hard decision no matter what. Lang tells CJ that if Martin tries to stop him, he'll have to kill him, too. Lang and CJ consider speaking to Sofia and Zahn in case they have relevant information. Lang and CJ get changed and join the contestants gathered for Survival. Lang is distracted and stressed, waiting for the remaining players to arrive.

Lang and Veronica (the EMS) beg the Old Man to stop his disgusting coughing. Both teams perform a dramatic play (through use of emotes), the Old Man gives blue team the win. Returning to camp, Lang quickly looks for idols before having to sit in Tribal. Andi gives him his trophy for last season, Lang bumps into Charlotte who offers to "take the L" since their performance was her idea. Lang suggests she starts playing the game, and they agree to blame someone else. Next, he runs into the white team gathered up, they want to vote for Charlotte and Lang agrees. The white team heads into the tribal, originally concerned with the people who sat out from the challenge. Lang thinks they're turning on him, but Lang defends them by saying people were required to sit out for balance. Ribeye reveals an advantage he won: he can make one member of the opposite tribal sit out. Lang thinks Ribeye only revealed that to save himself, and considers that he might have to use his idol. Lang looks around for idols until his turn to vote, and then votes for Rambo. Vicki pulls Lang aside to say that originally they were going to vote Lang, but she might have changed their minds - Lang doesn't believe her, but Andi is back to announce the votes. || 3 Charlotte, 2 Archie, 1 Ribeye ||

|| Charlotte gives her final speech, thanking everyone for treating her like family, but upset that they sent her home. She has security escort her out, everyone returns to camp|| Amadman asks who they sent home, joking about her not getting any money. Before leading them to the next challenge, Andi shuffles the teams. Lang ends up on blue team and is disappointed with who he has. He changes clothes using the admin panel, Eve calls him out for how he changed clothes so quickly. The next challenge is a parachute jump, the points are based on where they land. The blue team agrees to vote out Gherkin if they lose, but Andi informs them she'll be removing him from the competition instead (mfWarlock OOC crashing issues). Each team begins jumping from the tower, Lang lands in a triangle and earns 2 points. He takes his phone from CJ to chat with Saab while he waits for the challenge to end.

Saab hasn't spoken to Larry and Bubbles, but he got the recap from Jonah. Lang asks for his opinion, but Saab agrees that they need to kill Larry and Bubbles. Saab is disappointed, he thought they were closer than issues like this. Lang wants to stall until he's out of Survival, Saab agrees to keep Blarney's working. Lang twats out an image from the Penguin (spoiler-y), and gives his phone back to CJ. The blue team won the challenge, Lang tells his team how satisfied he is with their performance.

While Lang stirs the white team before they head to Tribal by telling them different people are sharing secrets. Sayeed's charater stirs the blue team against Lang, because he's acting pretty suspicious. Later, Lang and Amadman meet to chat about why he's stirring against Lang, but they agree to point at Penelope (Nakkida's character) instead.|| In a close Tribal, (Geega's Character) gets voted out from the white team.||

Lang takes his time walking to the next challenge while he looks for idols, Andi explains that it's Charades. Lang offers to be the deafened guesser, Lang tries to give blue team tips on how to indicate word count. They appoint Penny as team leader for this challenge, Lang and Ribeye are deafened and placed back to back. Lang loses the first word (Shotgun Wedding), but wins the second (Pokemon Battle). He tells them he'll be asking more questions, he wins the third (Trick or Treating) and they are safe to go home. The white team heads to another Tribal, Lang wants to do another lap for idols before leaving to chat with CJ.

Lang and CJ head to the Vinewood Bowl, they call Saab and Sofia, but only Saab is around. Saab arrives with Jonah and gets yelled at, so Jonah leaves. Lang discusses the plan of stalling out this conflict until after Survival. He considers that all of the ex-404 and the Knox family would band together to come after them, but he also is unsure how to handle Liya. Isaac called Saab to say that Luciano is sick, and most of South Cypress got the plague as well. Lang considers changing the structure of North Cypress going forward, especially with the removal of key members like Larry and Bubbles, potentially Martin. Lang reflects on CJ feeling the brunt of this conflict since she's around more, but hopes that with the close group of what's left of the North, they can survive.

Lang heads to bed.
