5/2/2025 Kick Recap - "Is It Worth It For Us?"

Lang wakes up and checks the Talon phone for the last information update on the mission. He informs CJ that they plan to take Skipper and Saab, but Skipper won't know it's Talon related. Lang steals a pest control van and brings it back to the Rest for CJ to load up with equipment for the mission. Saab mentions that his son, Jameel, might be coming to the city claiming to be his son. Lang and CJ take the van to the nudist camp and wait for Saab and Skipper to arrive.
Once Saab arrives, Lang pulls him aside to help get the story straight. Saab reads through the details on the phone, to make sure Lang isn't missing anything either. Saab takes stage and tells them a story about this mission. Saab claims that he's being hunted by the Cartel after cooking them meth for some time, and escaping. When he returned to Los Santos he changed his name and took on a new identity to remain hidden from them. Today, they're going to strike the Cartel during an exchange, as a form of revenge for Saab. He lists through the instructions, highlighting that their target is a tugboat.
The mission starts much later than they thought, so they drive around for a while and chat. Lang antagonizes Hydra on twatter, annoyed that Bubbles is finally talking about Lang's leadership. Edgar calls to see how Lang's mission is going, but Lang's suspicion makes Edgar think he's being pushed away. Lang tells Edgar that the USB has limited security clearance, so he can't view the details of 'Concrete Phantom'. Skipper pulls Lang aside to tell him that Leon was creeping around the Clean Manor during late night, but he convinced Leon not to.
Lang get's a ping to the coast line, they leave the car and jetski over to an armed boat they find, assuming it's for the mission. They wait on the boat as a fog rolls in, analyzing details while they wait for signs of the Cartel. They boat over to the docks and find the Cartel convoy guiding the tugboat slowly. There are two armed boats and a helicopter in the convoy, they try to hide from the helicopter as they stalk it. Eventually, Lang decides to take them to the convoy and Skipper opens fire on the guarding boats. Lang drives towards one of the boats to flip it, but gets downed immediately. Saab, CJ, and Skipper take out the guards and loot the tugboat of it's goods. They switch boats, a bunch of scuff happens, and Lang get's left in the ocean.
Lang wakes up in the hospital and finds his way back to Cypress. Jonah and Lang make small talk about the warehouse, he was going to hire Fiona to decorate the warehouse, but Saab refused because of her relation to Marlo. Lang and Jonah hang at Blarney's, CJ and Saab call confused about where to meet. Jonah tells Lang a scary story from his past. Saab, Skipper, and CJ come by to check on Lang and quickly recap the story in case he forgot. Clark calls to meet, Lang meets him in the Refinery.
Clark tells Lang that a different asset (assuming Edgar) spoke to the Faceless and bad talked him. Luciano and Clark visited the Faceless, they have a book that details everything about Skippers interrogation with the cops (where he rolled for his answers and basically leaked a lot of details). The Faceless questioned Luciano and Clark's trust of Skipper, and if they would react if they attacked him. Clark thinks they're going to be tested soon, and that might result in being forced to kill Skipper. Clark grows concerned with how secretive he needs to be, and if it's worth it. Lang thinks it might be worth it for him, but not for Clark. Lang knows he's asking a lot of Clark, but his limit should only be to stop at the truth, instead of lying to the Dons or other people he trusts.
Lang returns to Saab and CJ who have made some fake boxes of chemicals to fool Skipper into believing they got loot from the mission. Clark leaves, reminding Saab of all the parlays he hit betting with Blarney's.
