5/16/2025 Kick Recap - "Shreds And Pieces"

Lang and CJ get organized and refreshed for the Talon Mission they have later. Saab and Skipper are around and equipped, Lang sends CJ to get changed while he steals a Bugstars van. Returning to the Rest, Lang tries to sort the books with faded pages while CJ moves the equipment from the basement to the van. They all meet at the winery to chat about the plan, Lang pulls Saab aside to inform him about the sticky bombs and guide him on the plan so he can 'explain it' to Skipper and CJ.

Saab tells them the story about the cartel transporting more things, and his goals for revenge. They leave and scout the route, eager to plant the sticky bombs in the correct place. Saab complains about Clark being upset with him for not coming to his event, Lang calls Clark to yell at him. Clark claims that the North offered to attend, but pulled out last minute. Lang wonders why Clark made reference to supernatural things, Clark just didn't want to be lied to, but he doesn't have an actual issue with Saab. While they wait for the transport to start, Lang calls Carmine to get any investigative information he's found - Carmine wants to chat later. Skipper is assigned as a spotter for the convoy, Lang and CJ will hide right outside the Fort Zancudo bridge, and Saab will drive a boat trailer truck that they will use.

Everyone waits while Skipper spots the convoy and attempts to follow it to where the rest are gathered to ambush. The convoy arrives, Lang tosses out the sticky bombs and blows up a few of their trucks. Everyone pops out and begins shooting down the soldiers. Lang and Skipper drive up to the transport van on the bridge, taking out the soldiers and gathering the loot. Helicopters arrive, CJ and Saab shoot covering fire to help them flee. Lang and CJ grab the boxes and run down to the boat parked beneath the bridge. They continue to shoot at the helicopters while they try to escape, Lang refuels the boat while they deal with the chasing army. They boat all the way to the airport and grab a plane, finding parachutes in the back of it. On their flight back to Paleto they are chased by a massive plane, parachuting out and regrouping as they get changed at the clothing store.

Lang drops Saab and Skipper at the Forge, returning to the Rooster's Rest and calling CJ to join him. Lang opens the boxes carefully and places: The Vow Ring of Black Hollow, The Medallion of Shadow, The Vessel of Quiet Flame, and The Coins of Dust and Silence. With each item came a small note that CJ read out loud (included in record shortly after this post). Mickey calls and interrupts them to request Lang's help for a heist, 'One Last Job'. Lang asked who else he's called: Ray, Yuno, and Tony. Lang agrees, but he wants a cut. Lang and CJ return to the artifacts, planning their next steps. Lang wants to collect as many of the artifacts that they can, but gets distracted by CJ's t-shirt/hoodie. CJ finds it ironic that she is very close to Diego now as herself, and is finding a different path into Nu Epsilon as her disguise. Lang wants to fix the books that have been damaged, otherwise he wishes her well and heads to bed.

5/21/2025 Kick Recap - "The Lando Effect"

Lang goes through the different phones in the Rest to figure out which one is his most recent. As they enter Cypress, CJ jokes about Edgar being in love with Lang, Lang is just happy to give a good wedding speech. Lang calls Saab, they discuss how they plan on getting the North to lock in. Saab offers to choke someone out, Lang encourages doing it front of the whole crew. Saab and Arush speak about Hydra are at war with all of Cypress, Lang twats out that Blarney's is open so they prepare for some fights.

Lang climbs to the roof above Blarney's and notices a helicopter, but it's just Harry. Lang gets a motorcycle from Arush and returns to his perch to watch out for people entering Cypress. Arush, Harry, and Zeek join the radio and keep guard with Lang, CJ, and Saab. Saab continues to help customers that come by to gamble while they wait. Gigi calls, Lang gives her an order for rifles and molotovs. Saab, CJ, Dante, and Lang group up and discuss a plan for the day. Lang can't find his cane, Sofia is on vacation again, but in her task notes there are mentions of Liya so they think she'll be around. They want to head out for some jobs, but Lang is concerned that they'll get caught lacking. Lang and Arush chat about the attitude of their crews, Arush offers to take a few South to help them get things done.

Lang leaves Dante to hold down North Cypress, and drives up to Paleto to check the bank. The bank is currently being hit, so they wait and watch. While they wait, Besties twat about doing a bank truck at Blarney's, so they race back to town. They rammed the bank truck into the Blarney's garage door and left, Lang sends Dante to try and enter the truck. While they wait, Lang speaks with Fiona about her recapped history. She's a free agent and has been waking up around the same time as Lang, Lang is interested in having her decorate the Forge, but warns of Hydra and the Besties. She offers to show a property she's already decorated, Lang hopes to see it later.

Someone pulls up, they shoot them down and throw a grenade at their car. Lang and Zeek try to spot anyone that is lingering around. Lang yells at the police helicopter that flies down too close to him. Lang presses Dragon for hanging out near Blarney's, Fiona pings Lang to her property. Fiona gives Lang a tour of her very aesthetic manor, he loves her zombie apocalypse shelter. He is impressed with her secret cave and her bathroom, changing his ideals on wanting a mansion. Lang is very excited to see what she does with the Forge, but doesn't want to rush her. Fiona is worried about Pestilence, Lang thinks it's not that big of a deal.

Lang rejoins Cypress and climbs to his overseeing roof. After shooting down the many waves of the Besties and Hydra, the cops arrive and force everyone to split off. Lang calls Saab and flames him out for being stuck in Blarney's for the last fight. Lang returns to Cypress and thinks he's being pushed in the Refinery, he finds a way to climb to the roof. Harry calls to help them, Lang and the North go visit Skipper in prison who got caught during one of the previous gun fights. Dante joins them in visitation and admits his faults, noting that he has a lot to learn. Their time has passed and they're ready to leave, so the North drives them back to Cypress.

Buddha has a meeting Lang stays in the car while North and South Cypress meet to make a plan for future fights. Harry needs Zeek for the South, because while he's busy helping the North, they may not have enough people. CJ escorts Lang to a dark corner in the Refinery so that he can hide, Lang calls Saab claiming that he was left to die.

Lang heads to bed in the warehouse.
