JUNE 16th RECAP
Benji wakes up and is taken to the Vespucci parking lot shortly after waking up by Yusef. Yusef mentions that Emmy was being taken hostage by Exodus, but Benji doesn’t hear. After a short yap session with part of Hades and Jon Joyce about new events happening in the city (mainly Besties taxing money run spots) Hades Council heads to the Vespucci outdoor gym to have a meeting.
MEETINGS:
Council Meeting
The Council meets first to discuss items before they have the entire Hades meeting. Exodus (mainly Mac) is still pushing buttons and Hades points out Exodus in their inability to keep Mac under control. The council all agree that they will be skipping any war with Exodus. Hades council also talks about promotions. Rich is the next Prospect up to be made into a full member. Benji has a plan to send Rich to the sewers to get a mask, take it to the laundromat with Benji and complete the job. If Rich can get away, he will be made to member. Plans were to promote Rich today but due to Benji crashing out later during the full Hades meeting, Benji decides to do the promotion another day when he is in a better mood. Hades also discusses the need for the weed operation to be up and running more now than ever as you can clean money when selling weed. Besties have taken to setting up at money run spots and are “taxing” people doing a run. Finally, Benji discusses with Council their need to present a united front to the rest of the gang and to not bring vibes down as it spreads to the rest of the gang.

Hades Meeting
Hades has their first meeting with all the new Prospects and Hang Arounds at the same location where Hades split. Benji notices the vibes are off from the start as everyone’s energy is missing. After listening to updates and potential issues Benji later crashes out on his council for not being the leaders he needs them to be, in particular he takes offense to KJ complaining but not bringing solutions or stepping up. Benji has a sidebar meeting with Council. KJ is upset that the meeting is taking too long. Benji says he is getting the vibes that the gang want to stand up for themselves and do something about the provoking but no one takes action. KJ is saying that everyone is all talk but don’t do anything about it. Reggie explains that everyone wants to fight back, but they are not part of the 6 fighting and don’t understand the repercussions and what that does for mentality of those who are fighting day in and day out. Benji gets angry at the laidback attitude Council has taken and decides to take charge. Benji rouses the troops and gets the meeting completed by laying out all of the updates and setting up leadership.

  • First line of business to discuss with Hades is the weed operation. Everyone is made aware that now you can clean money through selling weed. Yusef, Winter, Tony, Vance and Mona are willing to help grow weed and keep the gang supplied. After a crash out from Benji later in the meeting about needing someone to take ownership of the weed operation Yusef steps up and says he will lead the operation. Benji notices that KJ doesn’t step up. Yusef is tasked with overseeing/ running the weed op, and everyone is to listen to him, including the Council. Yusef is to let the council know what he needs to grow weed and who will be pushing for the gang. Prospects are instructed on where they can safely push weed to avoid the gang being raided. Prospects and Hang Arounds are also told to step up and contribute where they feel it is needed. Later Mercury asks to be added to the weed house panel so she can help with the weed operation as well.

  • Moonshine will no longer be a gang activity. If someone wants to make moonshine, they will need to do it on their own.

  • Jobs were bought up and if they can start doing Maze bank and Art Asylum now that they are not at war anymore. Maze Bank will start tomorrow. Benji tells the gang that they don’t always need to wait for Jayden to be around to do the job, but they need to have proficient people to hack. Benji is not going to do training for hackers; they will need to figure it out themselves. Winter and Jayden are to oversee setting up a heist job once a day, even if it is Fleeca as the gang needs income. Benji expects Winter and Jayden to let them know when they feel burnt out and he will task someone else to be the leader for jobs. Hades also has two buttcoin farms and they have over 2k worth right now. If they want to do a job, then let Jayden know. Chico has a lot of buttcoin as well and will transfer it over to Hades to use to buy armor plates or do jobs as well. It is also brought up that Benji will not be teaching anyone to be a hacker now as they need to successfully complete jobs to earn money for the time being. Later Benji discusses this with the Prospects and Hang Arounds. TicTac, Louis and Dragon are taking the initiative on going for bank trucks. The rest of the gang are to talk to the three mentioned if they want to hit a bank truck.
  • Slime Shack updates were given by Winter. She feels there needs to be more workers and something needs to be done about their workers being taken hostage. Also, the amount of pay is a concern as well as they can’t seem to keep workers. Benji says he doesn’t want money from Slime Shack but to give it all to the workers. Benji doesn’t want to force anyone to work at the food stall. Louis says that they don’t have to force people to work Slime Shack but have the gang chill there and clean money as a gang event. Reggie re-iterates that if you are working there you need to have someone watching your back and to not let gangs take them hostage and make working at the food stall fun. After his side bar with the Council and crashing out Benji brings up that they need to get workers and bring a gun to the slime shack. He does not want to hear about people getting taken hostage and not fighting back in the future. Winter thinking about keeping Slime Shack for three months and see how it goes and then let it go if needed. Benji said they can always sell Slime Shack as well if Winter doesn’t feel like running it anymore. Winter would like to use Slime Shack to get grants from the government to earn more money from the stall.
  • With the update of money runs now being taxed by Besties. Hades are expected to hold it down when doing money runs and not pay the tax; this includes having a six and being prepared for a shoot out if need be. The gang will also buy dirty money if needed be but as of right now the gang fund is low so that needs to be brought up first. The cleaning house is at Rico’s old house so LTs and up can wash money. In line with gang fund and money talks, Benji wants Tony to talk to Nino the Mayor about selling the north WH. Tony suggests that they get money from events from the WH and get at least a couple million out of it as well. Benji gives Tony a week to get that done or the WH will be sold. Tony and Dragon let the gang know that if they have BET to sell come to them because they can get $310 for it.
  • For Exodus; Benji explains that the only way to get Exodus to stop targeting Hades is to get a lick back on Exodus. The mentality needs to be right as well and the people going out to get a lick need to have the mindset that they are looking for a lick and not just rolling out without intention. Mentos will oversee getting licks on Exodus and taking their members hostage when needed. He is also charged with looking for a six that will want to get a lick and rob. He is to report back to Benji at the end of the week and let him know if they have six for it and if not, they are to shut up about Exodus from then on. Benji gives the reasoning on why Hades stays passive up to this point with Exodus. Benji says his responsibility is to make sure that the gang doesn’t get bitched around and that it is too late in the season to become a powerhouse like Hydra or Besties. Without their experienced six; inexperience creeps up and they should expect to lose. Benji wants the gang to keep the right mentality and make sure messages are delivered correctly and moral is up (example do not say “we are getting bitched” but instead say “these pussies are trying to do something to make up for their losses”). Benji also tells the gang they are debt and they need to bring money and a solution if they are wanting to clap back, (war) otherwise, they need to keep quiet because they are not providing for the gang.
  • Other notes mention during the meeting; Dragon brings up that the city knows where most of their properties are now because of the split and inquires if there are any houses up for sale that they could purchase for the gang. Chico lets the gang know that the Barrio has properties for them, but he is waiting for his cousin to wake up to sell or transfer to them. Dragon is also tasked with redesigning the armory today as Winter is busy redesigning the Abyss and has a lot of other tasks on hand. As a final statement Benji expects the gang to respect the council but do not fear them as he puts them in those positions since they know how he wants to operate. Benji is looking for everyone below Council to step up and go to Council with problems and a solution. In effect Benji does not want to hear complaints without a solution.

Prospect and Hang Around meeting with Benji
• Conner thinks that personal guns should be used for bank trucks, but Benji brings up that the reward for Bank Trucks goes directly to the gang.
• Emmy wants to know if they should start the gang tax again. Benji lets her know that the gang tax is too small to make a difference and it is a hassle to try and collect from people in different time zones
• Rich feels like they should stand up for themselves, get their get back on Exodus and take them hostage when they can. Benji reiterates that it is up to them to have the vibes to follow through. Mercury brings that they can inconvenience Exodus as well by blowing up their car or meeting them at a bank and shooting them up.
• Diego feels like there needs to be diversity in the groups and there is a lack of synergy. Benji agrees.

• Lito has nothing to bring up
• Mercury lets everyone know that if someone gets shot down, they should drop what they are doing right away to help. Benji agrees but states that there are communication issues that need to be worked on as well.
• Marina wants clarification on training for hacking. Benji lets her know that right now they need money, so he doesn’t want to waste materials on training for a hacker until they are up good. Once the gang is up good, he will change his mind and start training again.
• Royce doesn’t have anything else to bring up
• Diablo is made a prospect.

Random updates:
• Chico lets Benji know that he has a new Slime Shack worker and a new lawyer.

• Benji and KJ talk. Benji says he put Council in their positions to fix the problems, but they are only bringing Benji the problems and not fixing and only bosses’ people around. * Benji said he needs the council to step up and start leading. Benji asks KJ what he expects from the gang. KJ said he isn’t sure what he wants from the gang because he is used to Benji being sole leader and just cleaning up messes. Benji asks why KJ didn’t want to lead the weed op. KJ said he wants other people to step up because it is always the same people doing the operations and he wants the new people to shine and have an opportunity because it is a few doing a lot and the rest waiting around. Benji tells KJ he wants HIM to step up because he is not stepping up and why he is settling for doing a few boosts and just hanging around. KJ said he can’t take responsibility for more since he isn’t around in the right time zone. Later after a detour to collect a gun drop off KJ, Benji, and Reggie talk. Benji says he is fucked because both Reggie and KJ don’t lead or take charge. He recognizes that Reggie has stepped up more but will pawn off work when he can. Reggie counters that he is still there to guide and answer questions for those people he gave tasks to. KJ said he feels like he can’t really take over anything and be a leader like he wants to because of his Liberty City commitments. Benji brings up that KJ just nags and doesn’t fix or bring solutions, that KJ is not the same KJ he uses to know. He doesn’t care if KJ steps on people’s toes.

He doesn’t want to fix the gang problems but he will help fix the leaders when they make a mistake. Benji is not going to fix mid-tier problems he has with the council to fix those problems. Benji brings up KJ’s King of Sandy Arc and that has been a year since he does anything sufficient and his Liberty City excuse is not working anymore. Benji brought up that KJ is starting to sound like Chico, he does nothing, he only brings guns once in a while and asks Benji if he wants to step down and have his position go to someone else. KJ says no. Reggie brings up that he is second in command now and it should be KJ as Reggie learned from KJ. Their time in the Vagos was brought up and how KJ was not only the man with the aura but had the actions to back it. Recently he has no action and is relying on his past deeds and aura to get him by. Benji wants KJ to at least try to fix things when Benji is not around and try new things. If KJ makes a mistake then Benji will fix the mistake KJ made but he wants him to try and build the gang. If KJ doesn’t step up Benji said he will have to switch him out for someone else if he can’t lead. Benji also brings up Jayden and he is almost a carbon copy of Reggie now and he needs Jayden fixed.

• Benji gets expunged and starts spreading the word that he will be running for Mayorship the next election.
• KJ takes Benji on a trip around Route 68 for a gun drop. KJ can’t find the abandoned warehouse along Route 68 and search for a while looking for the gun drop. They search for half and hour and don’t find them. After a phone call they search for the guns again and find them at an abandoned house and not a warehouse.
