JUNE 22, 2025 RECAP PART I
Benji wakes up. Reggie picks him up and tells him about a new person to the city came to the block wanting to join Hades and shot a cop. Benji and Reggie watch the gang do a cash exchange. Reggie also shares that a grey Sultan was circling the block, and Benji says just to boom them.
Benji hears that Tony had a crash out. "Finally, my sister won't get taken hostage 'cause Tony is on form."
Jayden is trying hard to get the money from the warehouse sale from Benji. He even suggests using Benji's south side house as a storage spot for the cash. Benji promises to address the concerns before he travels this weekend. He eventually gives Jayden the money he's owed from the gang.
Frank Williams Jr shows up at the Abyss with Jonjo Joyce as a hostage. Frank saved Jonjon when he was down and then took him hostage. Benji hires Frank as security for Slime Shack, offering to pay him $50k for protection. Reggie had met him earlier and gave Frank a gun for spice.
A meeting with Junior, who is running for Mayor and looking for Hades support. Benji tells him he hasn't decided if he's running for north or south, but he wants to run for mayor without having a campaign. During the meeting Benji discovers he is using Rico's phone and has no idea where his is.
Benji has a chat about wanting to be Mayor. He's concerned that if he wins he'll be assassinated by the Senators. Tony tries to explain to Benji that the Senators are gone, and now it's only Governor K. Oil around. Benji: "Oh, fuck." Benji calls Flippy to secure the Hydra vote and tells him about wanting to do the Purge.
Benji gets a call from Brian Knight, who meet up in the billi. Brian tells Benji that he has taken care of the issue with Slime Shack employees being taken and then people complain that the stalls are closed. Three or more incidents and they will be held in jail until court. Brian has spoken to the justices and said the issues are being sorted.
Conversation turns to PD raiding the homes of the people that tortured Rich, and Brian saying that they have Rich's arm and a eye in evidence. After Brian leaves, Benji tries to figure out who's arm Rich has now and what doctor did the surgery.
Hades Maze Bank. Benji, Marina, Jayden, Royce, Connor, and Yusef are the six. Benji does the memory hacks easy. The job goes smoothly, and when the last hack, Benji runs out and leaves so that he doesn't get caught and ruin his clean record. There's no chase, so Benji goes back to the bank and runs into Brian Knight. Benji talks to him about wanting to be a marshall, and Brian tells him to wake up early and talk to Dark.
Benji starts in on Tony and Emmy, asking Tony why he doesn't love his sister. Which turns into Emmy saying she hasn't said it back to Tony. Which turned into Tony manhandling Emmy and Benji yelling at him for it. Tony ends up going down and has to be taken to the hospital. When he comes back, Benji asks Tony if he feels like the prospects respect him. Tony says he's friends with Marina and Royce, and Benji wants to know why. Benji has Emmy join to discuss Tony's aura problem. Benji says tomorrow Tony is attaching to him fully.
