July 22nd, 2025 RECAP “BENJI RAMOS – HADES – NOPIXEL 4.0”

Morning Thoughts and a Bad Mood
Benji wakes up at the apartment, already thinking about what might happen with Hades today, especially wondering if any members will leave during the follow-up meeting. As he jogs to Vespucci, Reggie calls to complain that Benji is late again and messing with his schedule. Benji’s clearly not in the mood for Reggie’s nagging, so he hangs up and keeps running.

Benji in His Head
When he gets to the parking lot, he climbs on top of the tents. Royce comes over first, asking if there’s time for some of the boys to do a quick cash exchange job before the meeting. Chico shows up too, hands Benji a baggie of coke, and dips. As Benji runs laps up top, he gets in his head about what Hades is vs. what he thinks it should be. He briefly chats with Chico about Diablo’s death, mainly worried about potential problems with properties in the Barrio. Chico reassures him that things should be fine, aside from Aleks asking questions, but Benji couldn’t care less about Aleks.

Checking on the Abyss
Next, Benji checks in with Dwagon about progress on the Abyss. Dwagon says he needs help redecorating to speed up the Casino build, so Benji tells Gabby to help out when she can. After checking the work, Benji calls Louis to get a feel for what the squad’s up to. Louis says some of the boys are selling weed at the oxy alley and are about to hit a jewelry store. Benji’s in, he hits the armory for gear and heads to change clothes.

The Jewelry Job Turns into Chaos

Now suited up, Benji links with the 6-man squad: himself, Reggie, Louis, Jayden, Mentos, and Royce. As they head to the store, they realize Manor is already hitting it, which means Hades can intercept the Bank Truck counter. Louis grabs the chip to track the truck, and they begin trailing it.
The chase leads them near a hill behind U-Tool in the north. Manor sets up on the hill, and suddenly it’s a 4-way standoff: Manor, Hades, Exodus, and Hydra. Hydra makes the first push but backs off after failing. Hades plays it slow and watches from a distance, trying to find the right time and angle.
Eventually, Benji says screw it, they’re taking too long. Hades decides to push.

The Push and the L
Hades goes for it. Louis and Royce go down immediately. Jayden manages to take out a couple before he drops. Benji gets pushed from behind and gets gunned down. Mentos and Reggie are the last two standing; they manage to take out a few more, but Mentos runs out of ammo. Exodus swoops in and finishes them off. Everyone ends up at the hospital, gets treated, and Reggie picks them up to regroup in Vespucci for a proper debrief.

Debrief & Leadership Structure
Benji takes charge of the meeting. He tells everyone that moving forward, Hades needs to be more confident during fights. He lays it out: when the play is defensive, follow Reggie. When it's time to go aggressive, listen to Mentos; his calls have been spot-on.
Then they move into the council evaluations to see who’s staying, stepping up, or leaving the gang.

Council Talks – One by One

-MARINA
Quick and easy, she’s fully committed. Benji tells her to keep doing her thing.
* -RICH*
Benji questions whether Rich is serious about becoming LT and if he’s ready to do the dirty work. Rich says he is, but interrupts Benji mid-response. Benji snaps, tells him to leave, and not to interrupt again.
* -TONY*
Benji asks if Tony wants to be judged by who he is now or who he used to be. Tony says he’s in transition and wants to be judged for his current self. Benji agrees and says leadership expectations will adjust to better support him.
* -MENTOS*
Benji asks if he still wants to be LT. Mentos shrugs—it’s not his main focus as long as Hades is doing well. Benji praises him and says he wants other members to operate with the same mindset.
-BIG MERC
Benji checks if she’s staying or dipping. She says she’s here unless kicked out. Benji tells her to be more vocal and active, especially since Hades is different from her old gang HOA. She agrees to improve and says she’s happy here.
* -ROYCE*

All praise. Benji tells him to keep his attitude and energy, and that things will fall into place. Everyone agrees—Royce is solid.
* -VANCE*
Benji points out Vance’s bad habit of bottling emotions and expecting others to magically know how he feels. Vance agrees and promises to communicate more.
* -CHICO*
Chico shows up just to check in, everyone already knows he’s loyal. Benji tells him to stop feeling bad about not being around more. Everyone reassures him that they love him and he’s solid.
* -GABBY*
Gabby jokes she’s the glue of the gang. The council jokes back, saying she eats the glue. They tell her to start using Hades to her advantage—do more than just vibe.
* -DWAGON*
Fastest talk of the day:
Dwagon: “I’m in.”
Benji: “I know.”
Done.

After the tsunami, only Benji wakes up. He sits down with Emmy one-on-one. He tells her she has huge potential but needs to speak up and do more. He doesn’t want her to just be “Benji’s sister.” He wants her to step into her own role and make it count.
