7/21/2025 Kick Recap - "You Don't Want What Comes Around"
Lang and Saab catch up by the water, discussing what was damaged and changed over the weekend. Saab recaps Lang about a few things that happened over the weekend: a few applications coming in, the different MCs coming by to offer trades, Nino and the Chief of Police coming by to offer them coke, and the progress they've made on constructing new tools for New Babylon. On their walk back, they notice a group of BCSO police officers headed towards the town center, Lang believes that Edgar is responsible so he calls him. Lang and Edgar argue while whispering about the police and the mayor being invited to New Babylon. Lang doesn't want anyone who could shut them down to learn about what they're up to, Edgar thinks this is giving them a good impression and keeping them safe. Edgar helps give them breakfast and sees them off, Lang grabs Arush and pulls him for a chat.
Lang clarifies a few guidelines with Arush, Arush is surprised they moved forward so quickly since he didn't even know about the disbanding of Cypress, but it's okay. Lang explains how the decision got made and is sure to clarify that Harry was the one who pushed for them disband on the Friday that Arush was gone. They go through Arush's list and brush through the details if anyone was missing, Arush elaborates and believes that Teddy is willing to rise up and take over the leftovers of what Cypress was. Lang agrees, but Arush should probably share that with Luciano and Clark before really giving his well wishes. They're conversation turns to Arush and how he feels about New Babylon. Arush is concerned about how his new life will go, and Lang is concerned for his transition to see if he's willing to give up his things and leave his old life behind. Lang thinks that Arush can take time to decide what he wants, but Arush mumbles about having to rebuild again.
Lang runs into Skipper, they check in about the muskets being crafted, Skipper thinks he's going to make them today. Lang takes a buggy over to the Observatory to hear about the new election winners, and calls Saab to warn about Arush's unease. The announcements are: Michael Razzel for Los Santos County, and Junior Huntly for Blaine County. Lang returns to New Babylon and ocean dumps Arush's go kart. Lang groups up with Arush, Edgar, and his boys. They chat about bringing Nino around New Babylon, Benny shows them his idea for currency, Lang wants to kill him.
Lang pulls Saab aside to better understand what is happening to Blaine County. They are impressed with Skipper's work ethic, Lang thinks he's the best fit for New Babylon so far. They joke about Arush returning to Cypress with Teddy by the end of the week. Lang wants to learn more, so they head to City Hall. Lang and Saab speak with a Justice about the Blaine County debt, the potential of a civil court case against the township and mayor previously (Elena), and what could happen in the future. Lang and Saab try to meet with Junior, but he's not really around. Lang and Saab sit outside and chat about their history running for Mayor, but instead of waiting they head back to NB.
Lang meets with Edgar and Arush to chat about Nino's involvement with NB, and how secret they should be. Lang and Edgar go back and forth about things, Lang tells Edgar about 'cum-stacking' (where you stand in a circle and talk for hours). They don't want NB to be the only opposition to the Faceless, but it's quickly becoming that. Lang leaves to make a blueprint for Skipper, Saab calls to complain about Edgar giving apps to randoms off the Yellow Pages. Lang calls Edgar to complain, Edgar acts extreme and decides to stop inviting people, Lang hangs up on him.
