08/05/2025 The Cannibalism Trial.

Lang and Saab meet up at the docks. They talk about potential problems with Lost MC snooping around New Babylon. Lang wants to get aggressive with them.
Queenie who is the towns Judge, and Lang talk about how today's trial is going to go. Queenie shows her book of the Judiciary with the structure and explanations of the roles.

Everyone gathers at the range for the the trial. The people who were trialed today were Hassan, Benny, Andi, CJ, Skipper, Clark, Stanley, Saab and Wee Wee. They are all sworn in. Queenie made the opening statement. Queenie and Lang then question every person.
When it's Wee Wee's turn to explain himself. Lang's frustration grew as Wee Wee used his small vocabulary to explain a very long incomprehensible story.
Stanley admits that after the party on Friday where he was inebriated, Wee Wee offered him a piece of human and Stanley tried it.
Lang invites Delver, the Sherriff, up on the stage to present his findings from his investigation into the matter.
Lang then calls Delver, Queenie, Edgar and Saab to the pier. They discuss what punishments will be given.

They return and Lang presents the final punishments. Skipper and Benny are clear, for they made the right decisions. Hassan and Andi were fined each 15 babalari and 30min in the shame pit, to learn from their complicity. For CJ as a historian, it is important to accurately understand what NB is all about and thus her role in this issue is concerning. CJ received the same punishments.
Regarding Wee Wee, he is to spend time in the nudist colony with Andi, the therapist, and he can't leave until he has learned the true ways of NB and has reformed from his cannibalism via show of a written essay. If he fails, he will be exiled.

And lastly Stanley, who failed to use common sense and instead used the excuse of "if it's not written explicitly in the codex, it's okay to do", is fined 25 babalari, 30 min in the shame pit and therapy with Zeek. If he fails to clear the final evaluation he will be exiled.
Lastly, Lang announced he is abolishing the position of Elders and is reworking that system.

Lang calls Luciano and Arush to let them know that in times of war, when martial law applies, they will still take over as "War Elders".
Lang talked to Saab and makes him officially his right hand, to bounce idea's off of. The two meet with CJ and Chrome (Skipper & Benny) to tell them Lang is going to be more hands on, stricter and will be micromanaging everything untill Lang comes up with a new leadership system.
While at Chrome, the mechanic shop, Lang set them up with 100 babalari so they can operate as a business and start selling and renting vehicles and requesting work contracts.
Lang and Edgar agree to talk tomorrow about roles and leadership. He tells Saab and Sofia to on-board Fiona and Lottie.
Saab tells Lang that Eliza is finally interested in joining.
