9/1/2025 Kick Recap - "Not Today Of All Days"

Saab was away all weekend, so he doesn't have a recap. Lang suggests taking the fight to the Faceless, Saab suggests using spice to time travel, but Lang mocks him. They call CJ to the pier for the recap instead, but nobody was around all weekend. Lang and Saab head to the Northern court house to observe an impeachment, but Buddha is distracted by Abe's Cobblemon orientation. They are warned about the Faceless flying over New Babylon, so they return and regroup.

Lang, Arush, Luciano, and Clark rollout in a slow truck to discuss what to do. They feel like they're being stalked, so they decide to ditch the car and walk down into the subway. They are held up, Arush is taken and the rest of them are cuffed and forced to take the train. Lang, Clark, and Luciano laugh about how dumb it was to hide in the subway. They run around the city looking for help, but they decide to 'rob' Maze Bank in hopes that the cops would help them. Miguel comes across them and offers to help, but the cops arrive and take over.

Lang gives the statement to the cops not mentioning Arush or the Faceless. Once freed, he calls Saab to warn NB of security level 6. They steal a car and drive around trying to find where the Faceless would take Arush. Eventually they group up with Saab in the Humane Labs and find Arush downed in a pool of blood. Saab takes Arush back to NB, Lang and the boys take the scuba gear that was left behind and swim out of the labs. They steal a car and drive back to NB, Arush is getting medical treatment from Elena for being shot in the head.

They hold a town hall to inform everyone what has transpired, Clark retells the story in detail. Lang warns everyone, delaying the exams again. Lang, Saab, Clark, and Luciano head to the pier to form a plan, ultimately undecided on what they should do. They want to gather materials for a bomb, and they want to build a militia only for the Faceless, but are worried it will change the trajectory of New Babylon.

Lang heads to bed.

9/2/2025 Kick Recap - "Method To This Madness"

Lang and Saab meet by the pier to catch up on anything new, Arush is still in the ICU, Edgar hasn't returned yet. Saab is passionate to give his life for New Babylon. Lang visits Arush and wishes him well, hoping he wakes from the ICU soon. Lang meets Arush, Luciano, and Clark in the sheds near the landing strip. They have decorated the walls with their plans, and the list of known Faceless assets. They want to bomb the Faceless HQ, but Arush isn't sure what idea is best - he wants revenge.

Arush tells them that Teddy acted against him, he was the one to shoot him. Arush also wants to hurt Max by building bombs, so Lang takes them to the Cave finally. They are stunned and surprised at it's creation, Arush reminisces on the good times of the past. Lang shows them the USB, Clark asks about his clearance, but Lang jokes about not getting enough info from his spies. As they put together that Lang was once on opposing sides as them when they were Faceless assets, Lang shows them the billboards and details the clues. He explains his original reason for returning to Los Santos, but narrowly avoids explaining Talon.

They return to New Babylon, running over Harry in the road and yelling at CJ for trying to act as security while they were gone. Lang yells at Saab for not being aware of these things, but informs him of their plan to kidnap Max. They call for a town hall shortly, Lang looks for food and is frustrated that Yaya isn't around. Saab announces that they have completed 200 contracts for the Merchant's guild, and he'll be holding a Scavenger Hunt event to celebrate. Lang raises the security level back to 5, tells them about the conflict with the Faceless, and warns of what's to come.

Lang meets with Eliza after the town hall and has a lengthy conversation about her current mind state. Eliza asks about New Babylon's true purpose, but Lang considers this suspicious. He agrees that his intent to gather people was to build, but ultimately became to combat what the Faceless brings to them. She asks about his many names, listing each one: Dark Lord, Storm Lord, Marduk. Lang appreciates the question, explaining that the names were given to him by others projecting their beliefs. He was given Dark Lord because of the success and power he once had, he still believes in the religion of the Storm Lord, and Marduk was simply given from the people of their new society. She finds it difficult to find the good in things, and hopes that she's found a place on the correct side of history.

Skipper calls to ask about new blueprints, Lang doesn't have any. Skipper found a new barn to build secret advancements, Lang approves of the spot. Luciano approaches and informs Lang that Queenie has been taking Beric to a motel and leaving him there. Lang worries about how their paranoia is going to ruin NB, but they gather up Arush and Clark to go check out the motel. Before leaving, Clark and Jeff argue about Jeff being in debt to the Eagles for being rescued without his consent. Lang agrees with Jeff, telling Clark that he can't charge people for recovery while they're unwilling.

They creep around the motel, only finding a bunch of moonshine stills. Unsure where Beric would go, or what he would be up to, they continue to chat about everything suspicious going on. Clark was being investigated by Delver for their arrest, but he dodged the questions. Arush thinks they should be honest about the issue to prevent making a rift between the people. They get pulled over by Brian Knight, they ask about his accent and Brian details Clark and Luciano's previous arrest. Brian clarifies that the police can arrest anyone in NB, Lang agrees claiming that Delver should help assist them. After a long discussion about Brian trying to tell them that he's been investigating the Faceless and trying to protect them, Lang shows Brian the book of the Ashen Tree.

-
They all seem confused about how coincidental things have been, Lang ends the conversation by driving off. They return to NB, Lang joins Saab and Eliza for a recruitment interview of Jesus, but Arush calls claiming they kidnapped Misha (a Faceless asset).

Lang runs over to join them in the sheds by the airplane hanger. Arush and Luciano hold him up, Lang has Harry join them and they interrogate him. Misha claims that he simply is doing his job (as another ammo salesman), he doesn't know much else. Lang decides to shoot him once they determine there isn't much else to learn.

They leave him on the street, and Lang heads to bed.
