9/15/2025 Kick Recap - "I'm Cooked"

Lang gets some food and discusses an onboarding stimulus package with a new member of New Babylon. He comes across Ricky and Eliza, and immediately refuses to accept him. Ricky runs away, Eliza asks if Lang can allow him to repent or be given another chance, but Lang refuses. Lang finds it unfortunately ironic that the first person she tried to bring in after being allowed free reign, but this was an extreme circumstance and cannot allow Ricky to join NB.

Eliza updates Lang about the other new members, he takes her thoughts and questions. She finds that Edgar is a very tenacious person who can play multiple angles, but so far she's open to see where things go. Brian Knight and other officers came by Friday to ask questions, concerned about the Faceless attack. Beric was last seen in the ICU, Hassan called Eliza to pass along a message, for Hassan and Beric to meet. Lang thinks that he's intentionally stirring, Eliza agrees. The town hall meeting begins, Lang asks for her to handle it in his stead.

Eliza introduces Clemon Powers (spelling?), he gives a short speech about his eagerness to work with the society. Lang reminds everyone that Eliza is the Marduk when he is away, tomorrow they will rebuild the church. Skipper (in his best Rorschach cosplay) introduces himself as the new sheriff, and Jeff as the new Chrome mechanic. Rations are still free until they can re-organize a structure for what the food will be worth. Eliza reads a story in honor of Princess Elena, and ends the meeting.

Luciano and Paulie warn Lang about Benny stealing two vehicles and parking them elsewhere, Lang isn't interested in conflict to get them back, so they agree to let them keep them. CJ shows Lang different construction vehicles to determine which one they're going to steal for the Mole Men, Lang approves of two and asks them to hide them in the area. CJ mentions finding bones buried in the tunnel, Lang dodges the questions and heads to bed.
