Clown Group Therapy Session 1

• -# With Pixie, Siren, Helen, Tessa, Kirk, Sneaky, Twinkles, Reina, & Hazel
• Siren found Chatty at the Tennis Court and they discussed their predictions for the session. Helen brought the other clowns over and cuffed them
• Helen stated that Hazel and Reina looked similar leading to them insulting each others masks
• Siren explained there are two rules: listen to each other and be honest
• The session begins with a couple of icebreaker questions
• Siren asked the group to state something that makes them reliably laugh or smile*
  • Chatty said he likes calling 2 different gangs, and causing them to get into gang wars, then watch them kill each other
• What is a favourite memory of yours that you don't mind sharing with the group
  • Chatty said one time all the clowns were talking in the Funhouse, then walking to Grapeseed Main Street to mess with a group called the Wastelanders
• Siren asked them all to name some changes they have witnessed over the last month, and for Chatty what changes has he noticed in himself
• Hazel said during a big disagreement, instead of being mean to her like usual,he heard her out and reassured her concerns and made her feel appreciated and seen
• Twinkles mentioned whenever he's in a bad mood he actually tolerates the clowns now, instead of hurting them. He stated that a few days ago, he actually stood there and talked to them
• Helen said she has noticed he has been back to his silly goofy self, not as heavy but still a pain in her ass
• Kirk said he thinks Chatty has been getting fat since being on house arrest, and suggested getting a treadmill
• Sneaky said he has been a lot better at communicating to get the results he wants, instead of reckless actions
• Tessa said she has always noticed progress no matter how big. She said within the last few weeks, he's been in a lot higher spirits. She said the difference since she returned has been night and day and is proud of him
• Reina said she has noticed he has been in a lot better moods recently, and even in bad moods he hasn’t been as aggressive and mean towards her
• Chatty said the changes he has noticed in himself are that he has been absorbing and listening more. He stated he hasn’t committed any crime or shot anyone in months, just pure stirring. He stated that late at night, he reflects on what people say and actually
• He mentioned how a few months ago, he would have told Ember and Ratchet to kidnap and torture those hillbillys, and target their whole family. But told them to leave and called the cops instead

• Siren then asked what everybody is mostly looking forward to after getting Chatty off of house arrest
• Twinkles instantly said he can’t wait for him to be able to hang out and have fun with them again, and rebuild the funhouse like he has been wanting to
• Helen said she is really excited to go back on patrol and get back to the job she loves. Tessa reported her for breaking the honesty rule
• Hazel said she can’t wait to rebuild the Funhouse, then drive down to Hydra cul de sac to annoy Flippy…. Not with guns (real)
• Reina also said she can't wait to rebuild the funhouse and do lots of fun stuff. She said she can’t wait for Wendy to teach her how to cook
  • Chatty was encouraging Reina to develop her answer further to make her feel more comfortable
• Sneaky said he is excited to see how Chatty deals with conflict, and see what routes he takes now. He gave an example, and Chatty said he would be removing guns from the picture
• Tessa also said she is looking forward to getting back to doing fun clown things, and be less stressed. She said with Chatty working on himself and getting better they would all feel less stressed, including him
• Kirk said he is looking forward to a day of doing nothing but dumb shit, without the worry of their actions having major consequences
• Chatty said he is most looking forward to freedom, if it happens, and doing things with people that actually care about each other. He wants to go back to the funny and not the money
• He mentioned he wasn’t going to mention other stuff due to Helen being there
• Siren asked them to be honest about this one. She asked if they could encourage one area of him to work on, what would it be?
• Hazel said he needs to realise that he is a good person and deserves everything he gets. She stated he views himself as a bad person and wants to see him love himself more
• Twinkles wanted to add on that the clowns are all there for him and want him to know they aren't going anywhere
• Kirk said he needs to understand he isn’t an asshole if he doesn't spend all his time trying to fix everyone else’s problems. Doing so, he said Chatty has no time or something for himself
• Sneaky wants him to work on understanding that a lot of what he did to put himself here wasn’t only bad, but it also helped everyone else form deeper connections
• Reina wants him to know that even though some of the things he did were bad, he still has a lot of people in his corner to support him for whatever he needs
• Helen stated she wants to see him continue to explore all the parts of himself and make peace with those in a healthy way. She wants him to establish the line between clown things and getting himself hurt
• Tessa said that she agrees with everything they have said, and stated that those are things he deserves to work on. She said to absorb the opinions of the people who care about him, and know that it’s okay to not always be around people
• Chatty stated that moving forward, it’s setting boundaries for himself and actually sticking to them. Also, to never forget the process of what has been happening, not just the good, but also the bad. He doesn’t want to forget how they have stood by him in this whole process

• Siren asked one more question. What promises will they make to Chatty as his support system, and what would he promise them
• Hazel promised to always be there for him, and he can always open up to her without judgment (Chatty said it was a bald-faced lie)
• Chatty promised never to go on a rampage, then blame them for all his problems again. He promised the only times he would ever harm them would be in a way that’s not vital, and only if they deserve it
• He then listed off some funny examples, and said he would expect the same in return, and that he won't use a gun
• Helen promised to continue to attempt to stop all future scheming. She promised to do her best to understand the line between typical clown behaviour and displays of bad mental health. She promised to always be there to understand and listen whenever he needs
  • She also promised to chase Ember away at any chance she gets
• Sneaky promised to always be there whenever he needs someone to give objectives to. He wants to take off some weight from his shoulders (and to keep peeping on them)
• Kirk promised to do his best to be a better friend, and not get as angry and storm off as quickly when Chatty is going through a rough time
  • He promised that whatever happens going forward, he is going to stay focused on the future and not dwell on the past
• Twinkles promised to always be there, and never plans to go anywhere. and even if he has another problem, he will always try to repay Chatty for all he has done for them
• Tessa stated that she plans to keep all the promises she has given over the years. She promised to always protect him and his boundaries, and offered to help enforce his boundaries
  • She repeated an earlier promise: as long as she is here, he will never have nothing
• Reina stated she feels she met him at a very awkward time, and doesn’t feel like she has gotten to know him. She promised that he can depend on her more, and wants to open up with him a bit more
• Siren thanked them for being honest and concluded the session. She gave them one question to think about and talk with him privately
  • Is there anything that was left unsaid? If there is anything that needs to be apologised for, they should do so
• They thanked her and concluded the group session
