9/24/2025 Kick Recap - "Don't Be Here When We Return"
Lang flips off Jeff for bothering him, Saab tells Lang about officially trading with the old world. They don't find many people awake, Lang considers going into the forest for the day. They find Skipper on the way back into town, Lang questions how his investigations are going. Harry shows them a camera he found on the front gate, and then speaks with them privately about Clark's refusal to use the bank that Zeek is running. They joke about Arush not wanting to go underground, Harry thinks there might be an uprising already building, suspicious of Arush and Clark together. Lang shows them the barrels that he's using as a ploy to keep the danger of New Babylon real. Harry asks about his rocket launcher, Lang shows of how silly it is.
Saab gets a call from Peach, Lang thinks he's being interrogated through the phone. She asks about the bunker, Lang tells him not to lie since they're not doing anything illegal. Lang finds Bazim and warns that the cops are coming for him. Arush gets mad at Bazim for buying too many bullets, but Lang observes him make a good deal. Lang pulls Arush aside to confirm that he's coming down to the Vault, Arush is coming down, but really would prefer if there was a way to gamble. Lang and Arush argue, AC tries to grab Arush to help, but Lang punishes him for interrupting and has him do 17 laps around NB. Luciano announces that Kyle Pred is here to see them.
Lang and Saab head to prison to visit Edgar, but he's not awake. On the way back, Lang RPGs the gas station in Paleto. Lang and Saab drive around trying to hide from the cops, but Brian Knight pulls them over. He thinks they're terrible at lying, but lets them go. Saab tells Lang about Raider's MC parking their bikes up and getting back at them for kidnapping Arush and CJ, so Lang drives over all the bikes. As they drive off, Lang sees a sign that says Chaos Legion, Saab thinks that Raiders MC is just Chaos Legion renamed, but after some time he realizes he was wrong and it's a different group.
Lang and Saab are searched heavily by Arush and Bazim upon returning to NB, they head to the town hall shortly after. Lang thinks everyone should remain open to change, and welcoming to the new faces that join the ranks. Eliza welcomes Anya Knees, an 80 year old baker who is excited to make everyone cookies. Arush announces gun training for tomorrow, and a new weapon he will be crafting. Security is back to a level 3 since vehicles are being tampered with.
As the meeting ends, Saab hears from Zeek that Edgar's awake and looking for help. Lang thinks it's a 'good idea' to chuck some supplies to Edgar while he's in jail. They find Daniel at the gate who's returned from his time in prison, showcasing his new accent and tattoos. Lang and Saab run into some of the people trading with the Merchant's Guild when they arrive at prison. After some small talk, Edgar finally comes to visitation. Edgar set some people on fire for snitching on him, Edgar has a few more days left. They tell Edgar they blew up his cousin's bodega, Edgar seems good with that. Edgar can't keep his phone on him, so he is not as available as he would like. Lang offers to give him some supplies, they think the guards heard but they throw some things over anyways. They are escorted away by the Warden, Lang runs over a few people at the NB gate when they return.
Lang calls Eliza to meet, Arush yells at Lang for not caring about security. Arush molotovs his truck, but Harry realizes that it's not his vehicle anyways. Lang runs back and RPGs the vehicles at the newly renovated NB gas station, and then hides in the bushes. Queenie finds him, but he makes her brush it off. Lang plants a bomb on a car, but other thinks around NB continue to explode. Lang joins Eliza in the admin building to speak about Edgar, but things keep blowing up. Lang finds Edgar too positive when they speak, Eliza finds it suspicious.
