• Wendy didn’t know if he was going to stab her or go kill 15 people and end up in prison for a long time.
• She’s sad about the sobriety thing but can’t throw stones from glass houses. She would absolutely want him to get drugs in the hospital to help him heal.
• That’s why she was upset about it. She just wanted to make sure she was okay.
• He asks why she asked for some at the time.
• She tells him she was trying to get any other oxy off him. In her mind, it’s like potato chips. You don’t take just one.
• She reassures him she wasn’t trying to take them to use them. She’s taking their sobriety deal seriously.
• Nate will still need to take them from time to time for his job, or emergencies.
• Nate reassures her he won’t become addicted or negatively affected.

• Wendy has heard that before but trusts him.
• He never said she was wrong for her to feel that way. Nate didn’t even realize when it happened. He was like, “Oh, no. I didn’t think about it.” That’s why he apologized.

Nate talked to Chatterbox and they decided to lie to Wendy by telling her she found the painting. Nate tries to find someone with a picture of the mural to show Wendy. Nate and Wendy have a talk about oxy. (She saw him take some and took it as him breaking sobriety. That’s not how he saw it.) There are races, and storms, and Twinkles.
