11/28/2025 GTA Recap - "I Don't Have The Capacity"

Lang shows Saab the mysterious drawing at the top of Mt Chiliad, they discuss what everything means. Saab is still concerned for Denzel, Lang doesn't think he is, since he was confused when he saw the video. They return to New Babylon, Arush shows Lang the meth tables and shares plans for his operation. Lang wants the 300 BBL for Bazim's tower, Arush considers it. Lang and CJ meet in the Library, CJ shows Lang a new book of gibberish she was given, and then what she was able to translate from it.

Lang calls Bjorn to check in, and then stops by Denzel's old shop. They notice a NEST construction sign on the door, and find a car in the back lot. Lang breaks into it and finds nothing, so they return to NB. Skipper and Lang chat quickly about the previous Timelords, how he only got 20 months for stabbing Eve (a deputy mayor), and that they will do it again if she continues to talk about things she's not supposed to. Bazim calls to meet with Lang by the tower, questioning him about missing equipment. Lang threatens to shank him if Bazim searches him and finds no muskets. Lang drags Bazim up the tower and throws him off. Luciano calls after to claim he saw it, but Lang brushes it off.

Lang and CJ go to meet the Guild, Saab tells Lang of his final wishes on a short call. Bjorn tells Lang about Cuddles' involvement with the Faceless, and then reads his record of all the known assets. CJ shows Bjorn the books, but they aren't sure what to make of their next move. Lang and CJ argue about what information to give Bjorn, Lang fully trusts him. Lang talks to Arush about Cuddles, he offers to arrange a meeting with her. Lang orders Arush to come kidnap Max from Liquid Library.

Lang tells Arush about how Saab acted regarding Denzel, Arush doesn't agree since Denzel is their brother. Arush recalls Denzel visiting last Christmas, when they were still Cypress. Lang and Arush think that's the last time they saw him. They call Max over to help serve them, Max is deputy mayor of the city now. They follow Max into the Cigar room and hold him up. They confirm that Max is a Faceless asset (Lang knew that Max sold guns), but that he doesn't know anything else. The Guild arrives, Lang holds them up and forces them inside before they leave. On the way back to NB, Lang and Arush spiral a bit.

Arush notes that the Faceless love to do drops at the airport and the docks. They find Officer McNulty outside the gate of NB, he asks if they shot someone at Liquid Library, they lie and claim they didn't and then shoot at him as he leaves. Lang and Arush drive down to Chumash Pier. Lang finds a severed finger and a note with a bloody Talon symbol on it. After some driving, Lang drops Arush to NB and returns to the city. He gets pulled over by the cops, but has Arush get a boat for his escape. Lang drives the cops back to NB and jumps into the boat with Arush. Saab calls, still mad about his stance, Lang tells him to die and hangs up.

Lang and Arush find bikes on the beaches of Paleto, things in NB are popping off, but they are still on the run (Eliza shot Zeek and Luciano). They find a car and return to NB, Lang speaks with Luciano: Zeek offered her meth, she shot him (she's a recovering addict). She threatened to exile any of the militia for antagonizing the police, Eliza was hurt in the process. Lang checks on her, but she's currently unresponsive. Lang puts the finger in a bowl of ice in the library.

Lang finds Skipper, Saab, and CJ discussing how to handle things. Lang presses Saab for being involved in this, or other matters. Saab offers to lead correctly if given the power of Marduk, so Lang relinquishes his power to him and walks away.

Lang finds AC to get the real recap: Zeek offered Eliza drugs to calm her down, she threatened him and told him to run as she shot at him, Luciano approached and tried to knock her out, but she tried to shoot him so the Militia shot her down. Lang and CJ finally meet in the library, she offers to call Andi because they have no idea how Denzel thinks.

Lang speaks with a broken Eliza in the recovery tent, trying to convince her to fight through it. Eliza doesn't want to be another asset for a cause she doesn't understand, she's lost all compassion for the people around her. She wants to be put out of her misery, Lang offers to smother her with the pillow. Eliza doesn't have any resilience left, she sobs about the responsibility and the value she's lost over people who don't listen, and a cause she can't believe in. Eliza just wants to meet an end, and now she doesn't trust any path she sets forward upon. Lang speaks some words of encouragement to her before he leaves, reminding the medical guards to prevent her from killing herself.

You have resilience, you have courage, you have drive. Those things utilized correctly can move mountains, you understand? That is true power. - Lang

CJ asks if Lang still has a letter Denzel sent, and if she can contact Layla. Lang cautions that Layla is insane, and that she shouldn't go to Liquid Library for the time being. Luciano calls Lang to meet on the tower, and then complains to Lang about being left in the dark about everything. He wants to be aware of whatever is going on, so Lang hands him the tablet and gives him the password. Lang shares that they kidnapped Denzel to get back at him, and he's been gone since April. Lang tells Denzel about the note and the pinky he found. Luciano understands why things are happening, and why Eliza crashed out. He asks how he can help, Lang wants him to bolster and support Eliza, but also inform her of a trial for her actions on monday. Luciano wants to be used as a resource, he will help where he can, and keep it private.

Lang speaks with Saab again once more before bed, they still disagree about their focus. Lang tells CJ to speak with Luciano and use him where she needs him.
