12/1/2025 GTA Recap - "If He Cared, He Would Have Called"

Lang is informed that Andi is in New Babylon, but he needs time to wake up. Lang and Saab argue about their perspectives again, Saab thinks that Lang has a history with the Blue man, and references Scooby-Doo. Lang knocks Saab out and takes him to the medical tent to get back on his feet. Lang doesn't want to defend or protect Leon and cause further conflict with the Besties. Lang shows Saab the severed pinky, this changes Saab's perspective, but Lang doesn't want his help anymore.

Lang and CJ meet with Andi Jones to chat about Denzel, they show her the video and investigate his last known whereabouts. She hasn't heard from him since last Christmas either, but she does speak with Max whenever she's in town. Lang shares that he thought he was being taunted by Max, but Andi tells him that the Liquid Library regularly stocks the cigar room with Denzel's cigars. Lang tells her that Saab doesn't care about Denzel, he calls Saab over to get reamed out by Andi. Saab walks off after trying to showcase that while he's there to support Lang in the rescue of Denzel, his focus remains on New Babylon.

Lang and CJ go meet Bjorn and Lando. They were investigating purgatory island, explosions and crazy stuff happened, Bjorn remembers there's an orb in purgatory because they heard Edgar when he was there. Lando thinks the Blue man isn't important, and that it's simply a ranking below the white masked person. They spiral over all the information they know about where Denzel could be located, including shipping containers and the whereabouts of Charlie (Faceless).

Lang and CJ chat about who they can trust, still unsure if the Guild and Yeager are on the same page as they are. Lang returns to NB in time for the town hall meeting, reminding everyone about the Babylonian games. Lang calls on Skipper for sitting with the people, but Skipper doesn't respond so he's sent to the shame pit. CJ is made to end the meeting, highlighting the New Babylon Records. Officer McNulty sneaks into NB, he's captured and put in the shame pit.

Lang calls Brian Knight to tease him, but also arranges extraction of McNulty. He finds Eliza in the tent and informs her that she will not be punished for her actions, hoping that this would satisfy her mood. Lang and Saab check out a design layout for the Babylonian games. Arush gives Lang a tour of the gambling area and is impressed with the design. Lang visits the pirates, they chat about boofing and the record company. Lang lays out a section for the new gold reserve area, potentially combining with the church. Lang hits Clark with his vehicle while gathering supplies.

Lang takes CJ to meet Andi again, she doesn't have any news. They return to NB, Clark makes sure to clear the way for Lang at the gate, ironically commenting on the blood and dent in his car from previous. CJ shows Lang some photos of a building with rooster engravings in the walls, they drive into the city to check them out. Lang finds it all strange, maybe it's all connected. They return to NB again, Lang spirals with Skipper for a little before heading to bed.
