12/2/2025 GTA Recap - "Because I Love You The Most"
Lang and Saab look at more layouts for the Babylonian Games, Bazim get's sent to the shame pit. Bjorn's phone is being subpoenaed for the previous crimes, he's confident that they'll find nothing. Lang wants to kill Max today, Bjorn doesn't trust Max either, but he thinks the Faceless is extorting him to work for them by owning his properties. Lang enlists Arush's help to kill Max, he'll set up the Cuddles meeting, too. Lang calls Bazim to the tower, but after being stalled Lang beats him down with a pool cue by the Range. Shortly after, he calls for medical attention to Bazim, claiming it was an unknown reason for his injuries.
Skipper is checking on his egg, CJ tells Lang that Sauna was going to meet Eve at the Rest, Jacob dropped off an audio scrambler and questioned her lack of assistance with a project involving an encrypted website, but neither of them know what that means. Arush meets with Cuddles at a bridge nearby, Lang hides beneath it to overhear the conversation. Lang chases down a suspicious person, Gigi calls to meet while she's awake. Arush takes Lang back to New Babylon, they think Cuddles can arrange a meeting with the Faceless and sabotage that meeting.
Gigi tells Lang that Max told her what they did, and that he had no intention of making Lang suspicious of him. Later, the Faceless showed Max why Lang is upset (the video). Gigi met up with Andi and some of the Guild, she thinks they all seem to know about Denzel as well. Gigi offered to do more spy work, Lang gets antsy to handle this now.
Lang and Arush head to the Liquid Library and demand to speak to Max immediately, Arush gets the bartender to call Max down at gunpoint. Max arrives and Lang interrogates him for telling people about Denzel. Max tries to plead with him, claiming that he cares about people - he didn't think sharing would make things worse. They tell the bartender to not play hero, and take Max to his apartment.
Max hands over his chip, he cautions them from logging in since they track everything. Lang logs in using his password: dispensernewV65, and then reads through all the details he can. Lang gets Max to call in a meet, Max warns that they're usually dead drops. Max wants to share more: "they said you'll get more answers tomorrow". Frustrated that Max waited this long to share that, Lang shoots him down in his apartment.

Lang and Arush discuss their next steps, and the potential Faceless retaliation. They return to NB and sit in on a trial happening because Karla attempted to endanger the egg by sitting on it, so Skipper shot her. While waiting for deliberation, Lang is told by Eliza and Luciano that Leon is in the ICU as a result of a shooting. Lang tells Eliza and CJ that he shot Max in his apartment, he expects a message from the Faceless tomorrow. Karla is found guilty by Judge Saab, her punishment is to gather sand in exile until the Babylonian Games - she will be permanently exiled if she fails this test. Skipper is shown mercy as a Marduk, but must also collect sand with Karla (but he can still use his phone and communicate with people). Lang chimes in, wanting them to raise the alien egg together as co-parents. Karla decides to leave New Babylon, CJ berates her never finding shame in her actions, Lang texts Bazim to shoot her - so he shoots her down. Lang holds Bazim accountable, Bazim falls unconscious when explaining his actions. Lang reminds everyone that every trial is a test, and thing should be taken seriously.
Saab escorts Karla out once she's patched up, Lang realizes Bazim is locked it, so he appoints him as Skipper's replacement in the militia leadership. CJ wants to check out the docks, Lang needs to speak with Eliza, Saab, and Luciano soon.
