1/28/2026 Kick Recap - "The Savior Of Sandy Shores"
Carmella lost the the Mayor ship to Denzel, Lang wants Skipper to improve his spy work. Lang ignores speaking to Pred while he continues to build the 'gold vault'. He speaks with Arush on what to trade for BBL and if they can start doing more jobs from the city. Lang texts Luciano to have the militia raid Arush's clubhouse while they're chatting. Skipper calls to get help smelting things down, Lang joins CJ and Skipper for this errand. Lang is able to coat aluminum bars with gold, and gets CJ and Skipper to test it - they're both impressed with how convincing it is.
Lang produces a bunch of it and they arrange for a 'gold deposit' during the town hall meeting of New Babylon. Saab is away, so Eliza is forced to take his place handling the meeting and being as positive as he is. CJ is quite robotic, Lang doesn't understand why the meeting is so awkward, but Eliza shares that they've done most of the meeting already. Lang disagrees that they did the entire meeting in the short time they were late, so he fines her for talking back and sends her to the shame pit.
Lang crashes out a little and argues with Eliza over text about the timing of everything. Akira comes by to give keys, Lang decides to hide in the hills and shoot her car to relieve his frustrations. Andi takes Lang to see the new Lost MC turf. Lang decides to settle things with Eliza and check in on her, she agrees that she misunderstood the tone today. Eliza is still affected by the death of her husband, Lang offers to go see him and shares his history with funeral arrangements.
Bazin calls to inform Lang that Carmella wants to speak to him, she went to prison for 10 years. Carmella, upon losing the election, threw molotovs and caused a riot at the prison. Lang takes a quick stop at the prison to see her, she thanks him for their efforts in voting. Eliza apologizes for bringing up her stresses, Lang empathizes with her for her loss. Dio calls Lang to see who damaged his bikes on the way out of prison, and offers to join the break out plan if there is one. Lang brushes Dio off and hangs up, telling him he's not capable.
They return to NB, Lang and Eliza meet with CJ in the library. CJ and Eliza field a lot of complaints about how the militia has been forming a lot of friction, Lang texts Luciano to double down on his efforts. Dio calls again, Lang and him go back and forth with insults. Lang offers to provide prison break information for 1K BBL or 500 gold bars. Lang updates them on what happened during the last Faceless mission.
Lang wants to bomb Nu Epsilon, he gets the bomb back from Andi and takes Eliza and CJ to practice hot dropping. Lang pilots them through a rain storm, hoping they can hot drop with their parachutes onto the red keep. They do a few test runs with close success. Juno Sweeney calls CJ, Lang is surprised she's alive, but they're both not satisfied that she's a Marshall demanding CJ turn herself in.
Lang is excited to take out Nu Epsilon tomorrow, and heads to bed.
